Steel Prize Stables We are a dressage equestrian center offering lessons, boarding, and training. We do not rent our horses or offer trail rides.

"Deep Dive Into Dressage"
One game: 1 person was the rider/trainer, the other person was the horse. Without speaking and with only the use of a whip, the rider had to get the horse to do certain commands. One was "bend down and touch your toes, then raise your hands and clap" Another was trot to X and halt.

Here at Steel Prize Stables we are taking a "Deep Dive into Dressage." Our first session of "Deep Dive," Monday, Oct 27, focused on "Getting On the Bit." Andrea Pappano led us through lecture, games, and demos. Then, we tried it out on our own horses! This was the first in a 3 series with more series to follow every quarter. We also listed ways to reward your horse when you are riding. This way the horse will learn when he has done something right!
