Jen’s Dog Day Camp and The Bed & Biscuit Inn will be closing on September 15, 2025.

This was a hard decision, and I know many of you will miss this special place—we will too. It’s been eight wonderful years of making dogs happy, and I’m so grateful for your trust and support.

Thank you to all the wonderful humans who joined me on this journey and helped make this business so special.

In the months ahead, this beautiful, fully fenced, two-acre space will become a retreat for owners and their pets to relax and enjoy time together. Stay tuned! 🐶🐱🧳❤️

Part-Time Dog Caregiver – Overnight & Hourly Shifts

Are you a dog lover looking for a flexible, part-time role? Jen’s Dog Day Camp is looking for a responsible and caring individual to assist with overnight stays (two nights per week) and occasional puppy sitting at our two acre property.

Job Details:

Stay overnight at our boarding facility two nights per week.
Provide care, supervision, and companionship for dogs.
Occasionally puppy sit for a few hours as needed.
Help with feeding, potty breaks, and light cleaning.

Ideal Candidate:

Reliable, responsible, and comfortable caring for multiple dogs.
Experience with dogs is a plus but not required—just a love for animals!
Flexible schedule and ability to commit to overnight stays.
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.

A day late but wanted to acknowledge all the special dogs in my life for National Dog Day ❤️. Especially my Matty who crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. Matty was named after my best friend, Matthew “matty cakes” Renken. Matt tragically lost his life in a senseless robbery. He was every dogs favorite person. He walked my dog Jake down the aisle in my wedding. I named Matty after him because he was one of a kind, just like her. Matty came into my life unexpectedly. I was working at Atlanta Pet Rescue and a vet tech walked passed me and set her in a pen. I immediately grabbed her and put her in my office. I just knew she was meant to be mine and it was love at first sight. Matty embodied everything that makes a dog special. She had a healing way about her and made everyone smile with her adorable bunny hop. And then her beautiful face that always seemed like she’s smiling. I’m going to miss how I don’t have to stretch my legs out when I get up so I don’t step on her because she was always at my feet. She loved me more than anything. It was the hardest thing to let her go but she’s no longer in pain and is home with Emma and Uncle Matty. Fly high sweet girl 🌈🕊️💔
