Willie is a 7 year old buckskin gelding with all the eye appeal in the world. 15.1hh, Soft and kind expression, beautiful build, and that sought-after buckskin color that turns heads everywhere he goes. But as pretty as he is, his best qualities are the ones you canโt always see in pictures. He is honest, dependable, and one of the most kindhearted horses weโve had the pleasure of owning.
On the ground, Willie is as easy and quiet as they come. He has wonderful manners, stands tied quietly, bathes, loads, hauls, and is excellent for the vet and farrier. Easy to catch, easy to saddle, and easy to enjoy. Whether your barn is calm or chaotic, Willie stays the same steady gelding every single day.
He has such a friendly personality and truly enjoys being around people. Meets you at the gate and wants to be part of whatever youโre doing. Heโs patient with kids, forgiving with beginners, and confidence inspiring for nervous riders. At the same time, heโs enjoyable and fun for someone experienced to ride as well. He has that rare ability to make everyone who rides him feel comfortable and relaxed. He will walk along as slow as you want to go, and has a nice easy lope that everyone loves! Easy to use buttons- but still one thousand percent user friendly.
Out on the trail he will quietly cruise along on a loose rein, cross water, navigate rough terrain, step over logs, and go wherever you point him without making a fuss. Traffic, tractors, dogs, cattle, equipment, commotion around the farmโฆ none of it bothers him. Heโs toted kids and beginners for their first trail ride, always steady, careful and level-headed.
Willie is the kind of gelding people spend years searching for because proven safe and trustworthy horses like him are incredibly hard to come by. Heโs the definition of a family horse, and the kind you can build the best memories with!
