We are so excited to introduce the newest member of our veterinary team, Dr. Jennifer Rose-Post! 🐾

Dr. Jen says she started talking about becoming a veterinarian when she was just 3 years old. Her love for animals eventually grew into an interest… in the math, science and problem-solving that go into caring for them, and once she got some experience in the veterinary field, she was hooked!

πŸŽ“ A little about Dr. Jen:
β€’ Veterinary graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison
β€’ 7 years of experience in veterinary practice
β€’ Special interests include ultrasound, ophthalmology and surgery
β€’ Her favorite part of veterinary school? Clinical rotations!

But there’s more to Dr. Jen than veterinary medicine!

🐈 She currently has one pet of her ownβ€”a black & white cat named Wolfie.
🌱 In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading and cooking.
πŸ“š Her love for animals started early, with animal-themed children's stories and later, trying to nurse all kinds of creatures back to health.

When we asked what she’s most excited about as she joins Rock Veterinary Clinic, her answer was simple:

There are a lot of reasons people get into raising cattle. But this view right here is usually somewhere near the top of the list.

A herd that's healthy, calm, and well-fed moving across good grass at golden hour is the kind of thing that reminds you what all the early mornings and long days are actually for.
