🧀 We endeavor to keep visits as low-stress as possible for pets and their families, so when Ryder came in for a blood draw this week, we literally smeared cheese on the wall to distract him. It worked! He loved the cheese so much that he didn't even notice we did the blood draw. Now that's a win-win! 🎉🎉🎉

Dr. Cahill joined us at Belvidere just over a year ago. She attended UMass Amherst for her degree in Veterinary Sciences. While applying for veterinary schools, she worked at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, furthering her interest in animal behavior. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. During her time there, she adopted her cat, Sage. Dr. Cahill is excited to be back in New England after living in the Carribean for school. In her spare time, Dr. Cahill enjoys hiking, kayaking, swimming, video games, reading and spending time with her friends, family and feline companion Sage.

Little tiny Miso was rescued from his short life as a stray in New York and came to us yesterday for his first kitten well visit. At 5-7 weeks (estimated) he did not get any vaccines, but he loved his churro soooo much making it a great way to start building a relationship with him so he remembers this as a fun place to visit!

Torrent (Dr. Cramb's kitty) is begrudgingly showing off our new "cat-wraps", which come in handy for restraint for things like nail trims, blood draws, and ear cleanings! We are constantly looking for ways to make things more comfortable and lower the stress for our patients. Let's give Torrent some love for being such a good sport!
