Mose and our mini mule Rhoda, sharing hay. Rhoda is a long way from joining the mobile team. She’s only 2 and she wasn’t handled much before we got her so she has a LOT To learn. But she’s taking a liking to our sweet boy Mose so I’m hoping he gives her some pointers. 😜

Its hot out y’all.
Yesterday evening was spent making sure everyone had cool, clean water.
We have a few events booked for July and August. But will be taking precautions with the hot, humid weather.
How do we keep the animals cool when we’re out and about and it’s hot?
Shade 🌳 (be it tree or tent)
Cold water 💧 (we always bring it with us because we never know if we will have access to it where we go or not)
Frozen water bottles 🧊 (the rabbits will lay up against them to cool off)
Electrolytes 🥤 (because lets face it, we all need it when we’re in the heat)
Fans 🪭 (no, not the manual kind….a nice breeze helps for sure!)

The safety and health of our animals is a priority, not an afterthought.

Ok everyone. We still have ALL of Journey’s babies. Seems like they are just sticking around. And let’s face it, they have been great when we’ve taken them out for events. So I guess they have joined the crew officially and are staying.

However, we need some name ideas for the 3 boys in the pictures! Ask your kids! Ask your partner! Ask you friends! We need a little brain storming.
