This horses first time through the tubes was lovely. She was unsure, I could have pushed and stuffed her through- she would have let me. Instead I set boundaries of where I’d like her body to be and then was quiet and let her get curious and figure out how the tubes worked. Now it’ll be a no big deal thing forever.

Where do I go from here?

We have all been there. A cross road, a decision that needs to be made that feels heavy and definitive. Terrified that we will make the “wrong” decision we over think, stress, or become stagnant.

Making educated decisions and choices are important of course, and there are some paths that should definitely, and obviously be avoided but in general what ever path you choose will be the “right” one.

Take the path even if you arent 💯 sure it’s the right one- you can always choose another path, you can always turn around, you can always start again.

Afterschool program starts this Tuesday from 4-5:30. The program runs through the first week in June. Ages 6-12. Spaces still available message by monday 5/12 to get signed up.

We can tell a lot about where the horses brain and emotions are by looking at a their ears.

Horses hearing is similar to our own but they can swivel their ears 180 degrees, allowing them to focus intently on sounds in all directions around them.

Where their ears are point tell a story of what their brain is focused on- sometimes it has nothing to do with hearing and everything to do with emotion and communication.
