ZERO applications for both. When you see an available dog please don’t assume they are “totally going to get scooped up so fast!” because the reality is, finding great homes is not so easy. We live in a world where there are too many great dogs and not enough homes worthy of their love. 🫤
Blessing aka Hannah Banana (red dog) & Dulce aka Sweetness (black dog) are both fabulous in their own way and they are SAFE with us until the right homes come, but they have not received any serious inquiries.
YOU can help by sharing them.
YOU can help by fostering.
YOU can help by donating.
We do not put dogs on “transports” to other rescues. We do not rush to place them. We have a long standing but simple process to find them forever homes.
If you want to know more about either, dm us.
Thank you for caring and supporting our work.

Winnie the Chug is lucky to be alive. Surviving on the streets for too long, attacked by an animal (wounds and bruising on her lungs), old leg injury left untreated healed strangely, in heat, malnourished, and still so grateful for kindness. 🥹💔
She’s being treated for giardia, giving wounds some time to heal, needs to bulk up a bit, then she’ll get spayed & a much needed dental cleaning (teeth are not horrible but living off eating who knows what on the streets creates yuck mouth).
Thank you to the kind people at the park that found her and called for help. And of course, a big thank you to our friends and rescue partner who jumped in as soon as the real work needed to get done! .pet got her in immediately, lots of xrays, pain management and time on oxygen made a huge difference for Winnie. She’s here sleeping in a warm bed, only going out to do her business and then back in to recover.

We care for MANY cats. We have The House of Meow (strictly indoor crew) and we have a feral colony. They all eat well and are loved, even if it has to be from afar.
This is only possible with your support. Please sign up for $5 a month or whatever is convenient. This helps us cover the basics (food, litter, bedding, toys…)
Thank you for caring about the cats! 😊❤️🐾

We’re struggling today. Mango was adopted last January and came back to us today. She’s back because of a breakup, no fault of her own but she’s paying the price. 😔
She was the 1st of the “Fruit Puppies” to get adopted. She is so loyal and dedicated to her human. It’s going to be a big adjustment for her. 😔 We put these dogs through so much. The hardest part for me is forcing myself to not get stuck in the “pity mode” because the dogs look to us for guidance and security, not pity. We need to focus on the positive and help them feel calm and safe.
She’s just over a year old.
Well socialized.
*Active, loving, attentive, healthy and beautiful. Great with dogs, cats and kids. Well socialized. Great on leash.
Please share her and help her find a home where she can be their everything. She deserves all the love.

Dean - Sweet boy! 35lb (still growing), 8-9mo, good with dogs/cats/kids, clumsy so maybe no toddlers, crate trained, so far doing well with house training but still curious about things he can chew. He has a deep bark that keeps the bad guys away but he’s a little lamb.
He got so lucky! He was found by our friends starving on the street. He’s with us now and he’s available for adoption and also looking for a foster where he can get more undivided attention.

Who we are

We are a small but mighty team of dedicated volunteers and fosters committed to creating happy endings for each of the homeless and abandoned animals who come into our care. For their own wellbeing and through the generosity of sponsors, some animals live out the remainder of their lives with us. However, most are safely re-homed to fully vetted and committed families. We do not discriminate based on breed, age, health, or size of the animals we receive, nor do we focus on the previous family or circumstances which brought them to us. Instead, we choose to focus our energies on each animal’s future, ensuring them a safe and healthy place to grow and thrive. Because the wellbeing of our animals is paramount, we require home checks, commit to fostering until the right placement becomes available, and insist our adoptees be returned to our care should unforeseen issues arise within their new homes. That’s how deep our commitment is to providing safe, healthy, happy lives for each individual who comes into our rescue. Every life is valued. Every life is respected. Every life is loved.
