A Venmo scammer profile is stealing from us! Somehow they got the names of previous Venmo donors and started sending out...

A Venmo scammer profile is stealing from us! Somehow they got the names of previous Venmo donors and started sending out requests for money to them while using our graphics and the name of Second Chance Pet Rescue, which is the IRS recognized 501c3 under which we operate the Roadies & Rescues transport program (that I created back in 2020).

The scammer profile is differentiated simply by them adding a hyphen/dash after our official Venmo account ID, which is , NOT -. If anyone has responded and sent money to "-" (again, note the dash/hyphen on the end), It was a scam and you need to file a report with Venmo immediately!
