Two Abandoned Dogs Surviving in Stockton Park – Rescue/Foster Needed! We are full but if we can get a patient foster, we will provide everything (crates, food, medical care)

​We are seeking an immediate exit strategy for Buddy and Papas, two resilient dogs who have been living in a Stockton park for nearly a year following their abandonment.

​The Situation:

Currently, these two are being looked after by a local homeless advocate, but their only shelter is a stationary, broken-down vehicle. While they are deeply loved by their current caretaker, the environment is unstable and increasingly dangerous.
​
Their Temperament:

​Buddy & Papas are both described as affectionate and bonded to their human helpers.

​Behavioral Note:

Due to the "fight or flight" nature of living on the streets, they can exhibit defensive anxiety toward external threats. They are not aggressive by nature; they are simply reactive to a high-stress environment and desperately need a calm space to decompress.

​These boys have proven their loyalty and resilience. They now need a professional rescue or a patient foster to help them transition from "surviving" to "thriving."

Morpheus, Persephone, and Dionysus are the last 3 of 9 from our Greek Mythos litter still waiting for their perfect families—and we truly don’t know why! These pups are amazing dogs 🐾

• Know basic commands (sit, wait, leave it)
• Great with other dogs
• Limited cat exposure, but likely fine with proper introductions
