We had a great time in Kentucky this weekend! Always a fun time showing horses with your friends/family! Thank you to the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association for putting on a great show!
Sadly Lexi crashed and burned right before her lead line class so we had to miss it, when nap time calls it calls 🤷🏼♀️ Poor girl had been partying too hard watching classes the last 2 days with no nap and she couldn’t hang any longer.
Mimi had phenomenal rides in all 3 of her classes. She gets preg checked next week and while I’m so hopeful and excited part of me is sad at the thought of her taking a break. Having a horse, especially a mare, that loves and thrives in the show ring is a struggle. Having bred, raised, and trained this girl from literal birth her potentially having a baby is just nerve racking. I won’t say much more about her because it’s all been said and this would go on forever🤣.
Jr had his best show yet. I still fully take credit for his win considering I warmed him up for Will🤣.
Envy hasn’t been in the ring in YEARS and done so good! Fell right back in and never missed a beat. She’s going to be the perfect starter horse for Lexi as she learns to ride.
