Sometimes if it wasn’t for bad luck we wouldn’t have any luck at all. Tink went to the vet this morning for her heart beat check and she’d absorbed the foal. Super bummed as I was really looking forward to this Firefox foal being my keeper next year. She had some fluid so we’re going to get her cleaned up and ready to go starting early in 2027 with Mimi.

The good news is our new vet does embryo transfers so Mimi won’t have to spend too much time too far from home. Mimi also got chiro’d today and you’ve never seen a horse enjoy getting cracked like a glow stick quite as much as she did. 🤣

Nothing adds a little spice to dinner like a tornado warning. No pictures from the other barn but all horses, goats, cats, dogs, chicken, and Lenard are accounted for. The barns are flooded and a few trees down in the road but no obvious damage to anything else thank God.

These pictures are from Royal’s second ride today as she’s learning the basics. We all know Rocky Mountain Horses are blessed with great minds, but this filly continues to exceed our expectations. She’s smart, willing, and takes everything in stride. We couldn’t be happier with how she’s progressing and are excited to see what the future holds for her. 🖤
