Copper Penny I is a wrap!
What a fantastic week — the horses were on fire and the riders absolutely delivered. So proud of the entire North Ridge team for bringing their best to every round. Huge thanks to our crew, supporters, and of course, our amazing horses. On to the next one!
✨ Highlights from the week:
🔥 Chattanooga SH and Cooper Zaruby dominated in the jumper ring, winning both the Gambler’s Choice and the Mini Prix, with strong placings in the 1.10. And 5 th In the classic
🌟 Just Theo and Sophie Shain were Reserve Champion in the 2’6” Open Hunters. He was a little too fresh for Suzanne to show on Saturday, but came out Sunday and they both had their best rounds together yet. Congratulations 👏👏👏
⚡️ Hylight and Tyler Haney were fast and furious, winning several 1.0m classes and trying to give Cooper a run in the Mini Prix—an unlucky rail landed them in 7th. Still a huge week🌪️🌪️🌪️
🇫🇷Adagio Du Plix made his U.S. hunter debut with style—winning several classes in the 2’6” Open Hunters. He then took Riley Williams around the crossrails, earning Champion of the division. Way to go Riley! Keep an eye on this team.
🌙 Cookin Sweet Moonshine moved up to the 2’ Med and Long Stirrup with Ainsley Kent and Jade Lamb in the tack. She’s adjusting well to life as a hunter. On the weekend, she gave Adalie Kent great experience in the crossrails, earning a Reserve Championship. Big learning curve, and they’re rising to it beautifully.
🍎 Farouk de la Pomme and Reese Williams picked up great mileage in the .75m division—bringing home a 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 4th in the classic. They are so beautiful together. Great job, Reese!
🤍 Capo and Grace Lofin are such a classic pair—always elegant and so fun to watch. For their first year showing together, they’re definitely a team to keep an eye on. They picked up great ribbons: 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th in the classic.
Thank you , Collman Equestrian Productions, Inc. and CHJA for all the fun. See you soon.
