Day in the life of a professional cat sitter. Luckily all these pills will be magically scarfed down by the kitty patient! Some cats we get lucky like this and they will eat the meds in pill pockets but this happens way less frequently and I would say 90 percent of the time it’s not that easy! This concoction includes gabapentin, phenobarbital, prednisolone and Prozac. 💊💊. Panya kitty makes it quite easy for her cat sitter 💛💛💛💛

New client a gorgeous grey and white, long haired boy named Shadow! He’s 15 and we are here caring for him this week while his owners go to Europe! He’s taking a couple of different meds and we are the pros to call for that! He recently had been diagnosed with a kidney infection which typically calls for a longer duration of oral antibiotics. Excited to be his caretaker! 🩶🤍🩶🤍

Folks. We are in the fourth quarter and Anya's people are not slowing down.

This round already has more votes than any other round in the entire tournament. Yes, more than the Sweet 16, more than the Elite Eight, more than any single moment in this whole competition. Our dog community found this bracket and have since been absolutely relentless. Anya came in as a senior pittie mom with floppy ears, a voice she is not shy about using, and a pocket sized body that should be illegal for how cute it is. She has already raised babies, loved hard, and ended up here with us. Her people found her in this tournament and they have not stopped pushing since day one.

Coachella is going to need a comeback. That is all we are going to say about that.

What we will say is this: if anyone can do it, it is her. She came to us as a stray with a story we can only piece together, and none of those pieces are easy. She lost her tail, likely from something that never should have happened to her, and she deals with incontinence because of it. She has every reason to be done with the world. Instead she walks around this shelter on a leash and harness like she owns the place (yes, on a harness and leash, that should tell you enough about her). Coachella is known for loving on everyone who walks through the door, she truly is one in a million when it comes to cats. She has been fighting her whole life. Tonight is no different.

Both of these girls are still here at the shelter waiting for the forever home and we all know that's the real prize. Until then, we get to give one of them the shelter win tonight. They both deserve a crowd going absolutely wild for them and you get to be the ones fueling it.

I see this come up quite often in the pet care industry—the difference between those of us who provide professional pet care as a full-time career and those who offer it more as a hobby or side service.
