JAMMIN’ with CORGIS.
Friday is full of Corgis. Some adolescent ones with both girls being around 8 months old. Maizey had an intro to place tonight. She was quick to catch on, while working with the three D’s layered in.
Ruby’s lesson was a follow up to address some fears like the broom and vacuum, stay tuned to see a reel about her progress from tonight!

JAMMIN’ with Harley and Remy!
Today we caught up and stayed inside to stay cool in the heat. We got creative with this session with fitting Remy to a muzzle for future training, and Harley had to face her fears of the evil place bed. It was nice seeing these two today. 🙂

WE INTERRUPT THIS VACATION TO POST:

RUDIE THE DANCIN’ RUDE BOY turns SIX today!
From 16 weeks old to six years strong, this dog has taken me on the wildest, most rewarding ride of my life. He’s my first personal dog, my demo partner, my stubborn teacher, and my biggest heartache turned triumph. This past year tested us both. Injury, recovery, learning limits, and finding joy in every step forward.

Rude never gave up. Even on the hardest days, he kept showing up with a bum wag and that signature “happy to be here” energy. Through him, I’ve learned that progress isn’t linear, training never ends, and love, real unconditional love, is worth every challenge.

I’m so thankful for every trainer, vet, friend, and moment that got us to this point. Today, we celebrate his movement, our growth as a team, second chances, and a dog who dances through it all.

Happy birthday, Rude. You’re still the best damn decision I’ve ever made.

JAMMIN’ with Alfred!
Tonight was our first session and we had a jam packed hour. We started with practicing physical restraint exercises with Alfie to work on him settling while being handled by humans for things like grooming or vet visits. Alfie’s humans had a lesson in the three D’s of dog training, how to break down behaviors so they make sense, and how to tell if a puppy is tired. Alfie is certainly on the right track after today’s lesson!

To all the great humans who welcome a mixed breed dog into their home, happy mutt day! Mixed breed dogs deserve love too❤️🐾

From one mutt owner to another, thank you for giving them a chance at a good life by your side. Many of our students are mixed breed dogs. I appreciate getting to know the personalities of each breed that shines through with each new mutt I meet.
