Meet Tommy, one of our Track 2 super-dogs and a perfect example of why structured daycare matters.

At Good Dog Co, enrichment is not an extra or a trend. It is the foundation of how we care for dogs.

Dogs are still dogs. They are wired to sniff, explore, forage, move, problem-solve, rest, and connect with the people guiding them. A healthy daycare day is not just about more play — it is about the right balance of play, rest, enrichment, guidance, and emotional regulation.

That is why we created our Tracks model.

Track 2 gives dogs like Tommy a day designed around who they are: social time, smaller groups, extra guidance, enrichment, and opportunities to reset so they can feel successful.

Happy Birthday to Laura! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating someone very special to Good Dog Co, and to me personally.

Many of you know Laura through emails, scheduling, and client communication, but what you may not know is that she’s also my mom.

Laura has been part of Good Dog Co since the very beginning and continues to work remotely from her farm in Tennessee. Even from hundreds of miles away, she remains an important part of our team, and whenever she visits Illinois, she’s right back in the building, catching up with everyone and soaking up love from the dogs who always seem to remember her.

She’s been my biggest fan, my sounding board, my encourager, and one of the people who has helped me keep moving forward through some of the hardest seasons of building this business and raising my boys.

Mom, thank you for everything you do for Good Dog Co, for our team, for our clients, for my boys, and for me. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you.
