On this GivingTuesday, the world is coming together to promote generosity and kindness. As people seek opportunities to contribute to a better society, we are reminded of the numerous challenges faced by animal rescues in recent years. The rising costs of veterinary care, basic necessities, vaccinations, dog food, grooming, and pet-friendly housing have forced many individuals and families to make difficult choices between their children and pets. Unfortunately, donations to animal rescues have reached an all-time low, and securing foster homes and volunteers has become increasingly difficult. Despite these challenges, Ynot Save A Sam Rescue remains committed to its mission of rescuing and rehoming Samoyeds in need, regardless of age, health, or geographical location. As an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we rely on donations to fund operational costs, including veterinary care, travel expenses, boarding, grooming, and training. Our organization strives to provide aid to dogs that others may overlook, which can be a significant financial burden.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who supports, fosters, and adopts from our organization; your continued support makes every happy ending possible.
Thank you, Ynot Save A Sam Rescue

Many Ynot Rescue Sams are incoming. Most temporary foster arrangements have been made, vet appointments & grooming scheduled, then given some time to decompress.
A road trip to Twin Falls, Idaho took place yesterday where we picked up handsome Draco. Transport from the Las Vegas area to northern Utah is scheduled for later in the week. Crazy too, all current new arrivals are males. We do love those Boys!! We are delighted to welcome these new additions.
* We have also received three additional owner surrender requests, pending confirmation upon receipt of necessary paperwork.

***Many of our dogs never make it to Facebook or the website we place them with applicants we already have on file. Please visit the website and complete an adoption application.

Y-not Save a Sam Rescue UPDATE -
Since mid-September, six of our Ynot Samoyed Rescues, including Yeni, Karma, Tinker-belle, and Yeti, have been successfully adopted into wonderful homes. We have also taken in a few new rescues, including a new international Samoyed, FYNN, a three-year-old male Samoyed. Since we now have a Flight Volunteer based in South Korea who travels to the USA regularly for professional commitments, we can schedule FYNN on a flight from Seoul, South Korea to Seattle in December. FYNN was surrendered by a military family last month due to financial difficulties in providing for his basic needs, compounded by the arrival of a new baby. FYNN is currently residing with a local foster, where he has received necessary medical care, including neutering and vaccinations, and has been housetrained. We are pleased to welcome FYNN to our rescue organization, knowing that we have secured a flight for him. We look forward to seeing FYNN flourish in his new life in the USA. Big thanks to all our supporters and to those who continue to contribute to our Rescue Mission -
Saving Sams in Need.

We have arrived in Atlanta to deliver our beautiful 6-year-old female Samoyed rescue, Jewel. Following the passing of her previous owner due to terminal brain cancer, Jewel required a safe and nurturing environment, which our rescue was pleased to provide. Despite limited background information, we obtained some details regarding her past as a breeder Samoyed in the PNW area until her retirement late last year. She was then adopted by her previous owner early this year, but unfortunately, they did not have much time together. Our organization was contacted and we were excited to step in and help her. Jewel was a bit overwhelmed upon arrival; however, within a few days, her wonderful personality and desire for human attention became apparent. She quickly learned to utilize the dog door and became comfortable sleeping inside within a few days. Jewel enjoys extended walks but remains cautious due to loud road noises. She has also been debarked; however, she attempts to express herself with her raspy voice when interacting with other dogs. Human treats, particularly hotdogs, bacon, and eggs, are her favorite and with a few chin scratches you’ll easily be friends. We currently have several approved adoption applicants waiting for a mature female Samoyed, facilitating her rapid placement. We felt it essential to place Jewel in a loving home quickly, allowing her to adjust and feel comfortable in her forever home.
Welcome Home 💎Jewel.

We appreciate the continued support of our friends and followers.
