Our spotlight this week for pet of the week is the one and only Kimber! Kimber has been part of our boarding family since 2022, coming to stay with us off and on over the years, and we’ve enjoyed every second of it. At 12 years old, this sweet Lab may not be quite as playful as she was in her younger days, but she still has her moments! It all depends on the dogs around her. Kimber tends to gravitate toward older female dogs when it comes to playtime, though every now and then a puppy or two can convince her to join in on the fun. One thing about Kimber she knows exactly what she likes. When 6:30 rolls around, she’s more than ready to head into her kennel and sleep the night away. During the day, you can usually find her completely passed out somewhere around medium daycare, snoozing in all sorts of funny positions. Kimber is truly a beautiful soul, and we always look forward to every visit she grants us. She brings such a calm, loving presence, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our pack.

This week’s spotlight goes to the one and only Leo! Leo may not come very often, but when he does, he makes sure EVERYBODY knows he’s here. This little Shih Tzu mix has a huge personality and keeps the whole pack entertained from the second he walks through the door. If there’s any movement Leo doesn’t quite approve of, don’t worry he’ll be sure to alert the entire daycare immediately. Leo absolutely loves to play and is always finding ways to get the other dogs involved. One of his favorite games is sprinting in and out of the doors trying to get everyone to chase him, only to turn around and launch a surprise sneak attack out of nowhere. He loves to wrestle, rough house, and make the most out of every second he spends with us. And when it’s finally kennel time? Leo couldn’t be happier. The second he realizes it’s time for a good treat, he gets so excited and backs himself right up to you so you can put him in his kennel. It’s one of the funniest things ever and always gives us a good laugh. We love your spunky personality, Leo, and we’re always excited when you come spend the time with us!

Meet our Pet of the Week, Juno! Juno is a 4 year old yellow lab who first started her visits with us back in March, and ever since then she has completely stolen our hearts. Juno is one of the sweetest, kindest souls you could ever meet and makes friends with absolutely everybody she comes across. This girl lives for playtime and is completely obsessed with tennis balls. The second you walk into the area, Juno is already gathering every tennis ball she can possibly find and dropping them at your feet hoping you’ll throw them for her. And if one rolls somewhere she can’t reach? Be prepared for her adorable little stomps and whines until someone rescues it for her. When she’s not busy chasing balls around the yard, Juno is soaking up all the love she can get. Whether it’s cuddles from the staff or affection from her furry friends, Juno is always looking for someone to love on her. She has the biggest heart and brings so much joy everywhere she goes. We love you so much, Juno, and we’re so lucky to have you as part of our family!

Meet Django, an 8-month-old Idaho S**g who has completely stolen our hearts since joining us at the start of this month! When Django first arrived, he was a little on the shy side and unsure about jumping into the pack. But it didn’t take long for him to come out of his shell and now, he’s a full-time member of the fun committee! Watching his confidence grow has been such a joy. Django lives for a good game of chase. If he spots you heading his way, get ready he’ll sprint up, pounce in for some quick love, and then bolt off again, making sure you’re right behind him. It’s his favorite way to turn every moment into a game! These days, Django is nonstop play, especially with his good friend Ella, who also recently joined the crew. The two of them have quickly become an inseparable duo, keeping each other busy from the moment they step out to play. And we can’t forget one of Django’s absolute favorite playmates our brother Mozzie! Mozzie loves to roll Django around, and Django couldn’t be happier about it. No matter how many times he gets tumbled, he just keeps coming back for more. With his silly antics, playful energy, and incredibly sweet personality, Django brings so much life and laughter to our days. We are so lucky to have him as part of our pack!

Meet Ramses, our energetic and lovable 1.5-year-old Staffie who keeps the party going from start to finish! From the moment he walks through the door, Ramses is full of excitement his tail wagging, ready to greet everyone he sees. He truly loves everybody and makes fast friends with both humans and pups alike. Ramses may have a tiny shy moment when he realizes mom is heading out, but it doesn’t last long! As soon as he hits the play area and spots his crew, his confidence kicks right in and he’s off to the races. Whether he’s starting a game of chase, getting into some playful wrestling, or just zooming around with his buddies, Ramses is always on the move. This boy is go, go, go from the second he arrives until pickup time, and his contagious energy brings so much joy to everyone around him. You can always count on Ramses to be the life of the party and keep the fun going all day long. We absolutely adore this sweet, playful guy and look forward to every visit. Way to go, Ramses!
