The LOW Equestrian Center is looking for a Part-Time Barn Attendant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being around horses, and spending time in a fun barn environment.

Responsibilities include:
• Feeding and watering horses
• Maintaining clean and organized barn facilities
• Sweeping aisles and tidying common areas
• Safely handling horses during turnout, exercise, and routine care
• Assisting with daily barn activities

🚨May 10 Horseshow Announcements!🚨

EHV-1 Protocols

🌡️Please monitor your horse’s temperature daily leading up to Sunday.

🌡️Present a Sunday morning time stamped photo of a healthy temperature (98.0-100.5) to Show Secretary in order to receive your back number.

💧Bring your own water buckets and water; we have 1 spigot available at the Lower Paddocks but will not have hoses out.

🪣Take your water with you—please do not dump buckets into our paddocks.

📌Keep safe distances between your horse and others at all times.

📌Horses are not permitted in the Upper Barn or Upper Paddocks.

❌PLEASE‼️NO‼️GRAZING❌

Do not let your horse graze anywhere on the property. Our horses are showing healthy temperatures and not exhibiting symptoms; however sharing grass is the greatest threat to a biosecurity breach.

Our goal is to keep your horses as safe as ours!🤞🏻

Due to the recent event at Commonwealth Horse Park in Culpeper and out of an abundance of caution, the Lake of the Woods Hunter Series Horseshow for April 19 is CANCELLED.

We will miss seeing our friends but the health, safety and well-being of our horses and yours are our top priorities.

We hope to see you in May!

To help protect our horses due to the ongoing EHV virus in the surrounding area:

No horses are allowed in the upper barn
Please do not touch any horses other than your own
Rental stall users must bring their own water buckets, clasps, and hoses
