Schlund Family Farm Locally produced pork, beef and eggs for sale. The Schlund Family Farm is a family owned, locally run, small farm located in Spotsylvania County.

Todd and Jody Schlund are sole proprietors and care for all the chickens, goats, sheep, cattle and hogs by hand every day - while providing the animals sun, shade, shelter and fresh air. Todd and Jody were raised on farms in South Dakota and lived in many different locations throughout over 20 years of Marine Corps active-duty service. Once retired they settled down in Locust Grove, Virginia and w

ith four children and two grandchildren, established The Schlund Family Farm. Todd and Jody sincerely hope that you enjoy their fine products and want you to know they are honored to serve you and the community. Schlund Family Farm is small - but they are good!!!

A bona fide, genuine, special treat is being prepared as I construct this post

The truly talented Paul Stoddard - owner of River’s End Speakeasy (along with Emma Stoddard) is preparing Schlund Family Farm raised beef for a special this evening.

Paul has taken one of our grass-fed/grass-finished whole beef tenderloins - and lovingly and carefully cut the portions himself with his own hands.

I did a delivery this morning on my way home from flying and saw the cuts myself - they are beautiful.

I would imagine these are going to move pretty fast - so word to the wise......

EVERYTHING is delicious there - so no matter what........you simply can't go wrong!!!

Please get out and support these two beautiful souls and their Team and their business - they absolutely deserve our collective Patronage - I have mentioned before and will continue to beat that drum - Emma and Paul will never ask their Team to do anything they are not willing to do themselves - they not only CAN stand the heat in the kitchen - they are actually right IN the kitchen!!!!

We desperately need everyone to bring their used egg cartons back please - we had to purchase a bulk order of 300 egg cartons from the CO-OP last week - which we have not had to do in a very long time.

Doing everything we can to keep our prices where they are - but we need your help.
