We are less than 2 weeks away to our 2nd annual National Shelter Slumber Pawty and we still have a long way to go to meet our fundraising goal! Ever wonder what your donations do for our shelter animals?!? Well, here are just some examples…$10 allows us to heartworm test a dog in preparation for adoption or transport, $30 pays for a health certification to allow a dog or cat to go on transport up north to be adopted, $60 covers the spay or neuter surgery/vaccinations/meds to fix and release one unowned community cat, and the list goes on…. Medical costs (spay/neuter, vaccines, monthly prevention and wormers, heartworm and combo tests, medications, veterinarian health certs, and medical emergencies) are by far our biggest expense and are crucial to maintaining the health and safety of our shelter animals. As you can see, any donation amount will have a positive impact on our shelter babies! Please help us reach our fundraising goal this year and make our Slumber Pawty a huge success! We have been at Mr. Brown's Pet Stop doing FREE MICROCHIPS. Leilei & Max have been a huge help! They also got fabulous pedicures from The Princess, LeiLei was NOT amused! She is only welcomed back with a muzzle!!!! So, fair disclosure, she really is NOT perfect after all!
