Babies are hatching today at Stingers! Chameleon geckos! Which are so under rated! They are spectacular! Eurydactylodes is a small, unique arboreal reptile endemic to New Caledonia. They are not true chameleons but get their name from their slow, deliberate movements, independently rotating eyes and prehensile tails used to grasp thin branches. They are docile, often called "finger geckos" for their "finger-hugging" habits. What makes them so cool are they are active during both day and night.

Check these little fellows out... we have babies that are ready to go. If you need our help sitting up a suitable small habitat... come in and talk with us about it. We have everything you need ... and since we breed them we know their favorite kinds of branches, food and plants!

We produce two kinds E. agricolae and E. veilliardi 🙂

Perhaps you've saw the beautiful globe of carnivorous plants sitting on the counter when you visit ... you can do it too! We have a Carnivorous Plant Growarium or! Maybe you already have a cool jar or terrarium? Very cool little project ... the Growarium has seeds ... growing seeds takes patience but you don't have to be patient just grab a few already sprouted plants! These little guys are hatching out :) Chameleon Geckos! Yes! There is a such thing as Chameleon Geckos... not a chameleon at all but a New Caledonian species of gecko :) When they hatch they are about 2" in length and about the circumference of cooked spaghetti :D

Chameleon geckos are small, arboreal lizards known for their slow, deliberate movements, prehensile tails and omnivorous diet. They reach lengths of about 4 to 7 inches and make calm, low-maintenance pets similar in care to crested geckos. They are fascinating! Busy during the day ... easy to care for :)

Egg~citement this morning! We've been waiting on these to hatch for the potential of blue eyed leucistics. So far two noses of the egg are leucistic 🥳 Stay tuned for more! Should be an egg~citing couple of weeks ahead with hatching!
