Arroyo Veterinary Center Our state of the art facility was built in 2012 and houses the most up to date equipment.

We provide one stop medical services including exams, vaccines, surgery, radiology, laboratory testing, and pharmacy, and more for your family friends. Your pets are a member of the family and we take every precaution in keeping them safe and healthy. The staff at Arroyo Veterinary Center is always open to your questions and concerns and prides themselves on client education and preventative health care.

While it’s normal for pets to have the occasional itch (don’t we all!) sometimes it can be indicative of something more uncomfortable for pets like allergies, parasites, or other skin conditions.

🐾We are adding a new doctor to the AVC team! Read her Bio below to learn all about her before she joins us in August 🐾

Dr. Amala Rao grew up in the Bay Area and had a deep passion for animals and medicine from childhood. She qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London and although she appreciated her time abroad, she was happy to move back to California to practice. Dr. Rao loves general practice for the opportunity it gives her to build relationships with her clients and patients. Her interests are in surgery, neurology, and oncology.

Aside from work, Dr. Rao can usually be found on road trips, camping, or exploring new corners of California. She also loves listening to music and reading. Although she does not currently have any pets, she is looking forward to adopting a puppy soon!

⚡ Zeus → Demands attention. Throws tantrums when ignored. Somehow still in charge.
🌊 Poseidon → Knocks over the water bowl… then complains there’s no water.
☀️ Apollo → Finds the single sunbeam in the house and claims it.
🔥 Hades → Lives under the bed. Judges everyone.
