Pepper’s world changed overnight when she was rescued along with 25 other dogs from a difficult situation. Soon after arriving into her foster home, we discovered she was pregnant, and just one week later, she welcomed one healthy baby boy, Dash.

Pepper has been a wonderful mama, and now that Dash is old enough to be on his own, it’s finally her turn to find the loving forever home she deserves.

Pepper is a gentle, sweet girl who is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through. She enjoys cuddling, lounging in the sun, riding quietly in the car, and spending time with other dogs and cats. She’s still building confidence and learning the basics, but she’s making progress every day.

After all she’s been through, Pepper deserves a calm, patient home where she can continue learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished.

Sweet Hope has come such a long way since arriving at TOG scared and unsure of the world. Her foster mom took a chance on her, and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing.

This adorable little lady is about 9 years old and has slimmed down from 18 pounds to a healthy 14.5 pounds. She loves short walks, cozy blankets, tennis balls, and spending time with her family. She lives happily with dogs and cats and has blossomed into a loving companion who now gives kisses and greets her foster mom with excitement when she comes home.

Hope is gentle, easygoing, and happiest curled up beside someone she loves. She is a little gem and will make a wonderful, loyal companion for a very lucky family.

Our little mouse Peyton has been feeling under the weather these past few days. He saw his new doctor yesterday (she is in love with him), is on some good meds, and is hopefully on the road to recovery.

He lost about a pound through all of this, so the goal is for him to start putting that weight back on as he feels better. The good news is that his big attitude and Peyton Chihuahua sass are still very much in place, which is a reassuring sign.

We are hopeful that our tiny but mighty mouse is back to feeling like himself very soon 🐭

Tommy and Moka are learning what love and comfort feel like together. They are also learning good manners!

With the patience and kindness of their foster family, Moka is beginning to blossom more and more each day. By her side is her sweet brother Tommy, who is affectionate, happy, and brings a gentle confidence wherever he goes.

The two share a beautiful bond, playing together, exploring the yard, and helping each other feel safe and at home.

They are looking for a loving home together where they can continue their journey side by side.

Sweet senior Lambie is 12 years old and very simply wants a family to love forever and ever.

This gentle boy adores cuddling on the couch, going for walks, riding in the car, and staying close to his person. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and is wonderful with cats, too.
Lambie came to us needing medical care for infections and painful foxtails, which are currently being addressed. He will be neutered once he is all healed. Despite everything, he remains incredibly loving, trusting, and sweet.

He deserves a soft place to land and a family to cherish him through his golden years. Could that be you?

Sweet Eva has been waiting far too long for her forever home, and we’re not quite sure why. The only thing that may give potential adopters pause is her heart murmur, but she’s living very comfortably with it, does not require medication, and is doing just fine.

Eva once lived in an assisted living facility with her beloved Papa. When he passed, another resident tried to care for her, but it became too much, and her family reached out to Tails of Gray for help.

She’s an 8 year old, house trained little lady who is mellow, loves to cuddle, and gets along beautifully with both people and other dogs. Her favorite place is the couch, especially under a pile of cozy blankets. Aside from her heart murmur and some mild arthritis, she’s considered healthy and has filled out nicely after arriving a bit underweight.

Since coming to TOG, Eva has really come out of her shell and even shows a playful side. She’s ready for that next chapter with a family to call her own.
