Little Turbina helps resident dog Ronan feel better when he’s having an off day. She mostly really just wants the bed, but is gracious enough to let him stay if he made it there first.

Our sweet TOG girl, 4-year-old Annie, has been waiting far too long for her forever home. Still, she continues to blossom. She recently earned her Certificate of Completion in Beginning Dog Training and now happily joins her foster mom on 10-mile hikes.

Annie would love a calm, adult home where she can keep learning and building on her good manners. She sleeps soundly through the night and greets each morning with happy tail wags and excitement for breakfast. She’s discovering the joy of daily walks, does well with the other dogs in her home, and would be a wonderful candidate for agility training.

Cheerful, bright, and eager to please, Annie is so ready for her happily ever after.

Turbina came to the shelter with her four siblings after their parents left the country and the remaining family member could no longer care for them. Thankfully, all five found their way to safety, with Turbina coming to Tails of Gray.

She is 10 years old, weighs 16 pounds, and settled right into her foster home. Turbina loves a soft bed, really enjoys her meals, and has a snore that will make you smile.

She can be a little shy at first, but once she knows she's safe, she's incredibly sweet. She follows her foster mom around the house, enjoys short walks, and is becoming more confident every day. She's also doing very well with her house training.

Turbina had her cherry eye surgery and is now ready to find a loving, quiet home where she can continue to blossom.

Could Turbina be the one you've been waiting for?

TOG alum Hope had her long-awaited dental yesterday and is doing great!

After coming into our rescue, Hope ended up needing bladder stone surgery when other attempts to resolve the issue weren’t successful. Between giving her plenty of time to heal, waiting for her dental appointment, and a reschedule that was out of everyone’s control, it’s been quite a journey to get to this point.

Yesterday, she finally had her big dental day, and we’re happy to report that she is recovering beautifully. She’s so glad to have this last bit of her medical care behind her!

Pepper’s world changed overnight when she was rescued along with 25 other dogs from a difficult situation. Soon after arriving into her foster home, we discovered she was pregnant, and just one week later, she welcomed one healthy baby boy, Dash.

Pepper (left) has been a wonderful mama, and now that Dash is old enough to be on his own, it’s finally her turn to find the loving forever home she deserves.

Pepper is a gentle, sweet girl who is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through. She enjoys cuddling, lounging in the sun, riding quietly in the car, and spending time with other dogs and cats. She’s still building confidence and learning the basics, but she’s making progress every day.

After all she’s been through, Pepper deserves a calm, patient home where she can continue learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished.

Our new bonded pair, Sassy and Raider, are settling in well at their foster home. Sassy is already enjoying playtime with adoptable TOG girl Annie!

Raider came to us quite thin and has not shown much interest in eating, although we were very happy that he ate breakfast this morning. Both dogs will be seeing our vet next week so we can determine whether anything medical may be affecting him.

Sassy and Raider were loved and received consistent medical care over the years, so it is also possible that the progressive upheaval in the daily life Raider has known for so long is affecting his appetite.

They are such a sweet little couple, and we are grateful that their mom's family took the necessary steps to ensure they could remain together.

Moka and Tommy are learning what love and comfort feel like together. They are also learning good manners!

With the patience and kindness of their foster family, Moka is beginning to blossom more and more each day. By her side is her sweet brother Tommy, who is affectionate, happy, and brings a gentle confidence wherever he goes.

The two share a beautiful bond, playing together, exploring the yard, and helping each other feel safe and at home.

They are looking for a loving home together where they can continue their journey side by side.

13-year-old Raider and 8-year-old Sassy are officially with Tails of Gray as of today, safe and sound.

After losing their dad and then having to leave their mom as she prepares to move into memory care, their whole world has changed. These two have also left behind the only home and family life they have known.

Understandably, they are a little confused by everything happening around them, but thankfully they still have each other. Raider and Sassy are settling into their foster home, where they will be surrounded by love and receive all the care they need as they adjust to this next chapter.

Welcome to TOG, sweet Raider and Sassy. You are safe now.
