I had someone the other day say that I didn't "look the part" given my profession. Wasn't the first time & I'm sure it won't be the last.

Never judge a horseman by their footwear. Plenty of incredible horsemen and women are rolling around in dirty, worn-out tennis shoes when they aren't in the saddle - mostly because we’re about half crippled and just trying to keep our tired, worn bodies comfortable. True horsemanship isn't about looking the part; it's about what happens between you and the horse and what you can actually get done at the end of the day. 😉
