DeWitt's Majestic Malamutes

DeWitt's Majestic Malamutes My family and I have owned Alaskan Malamutes for 15 years, and started in 2013 with breeding them. We breed healthy happy pups! Only 1-2 litters per year.

My family & I have had Malamutes for over 10 years, and decided in 2013 to start breeding them, as we love the breed. I will be having standard coats, as well as woolys. My pups will be AKC registered, and come with their 1st set of puppy shots given at 6 weeks by my Veterinarian. I do NOT breed for size, I breed for betterment of the breed. My pups will come pre-spoiled as they will be handled fr

om day one by myself, my husband, and our children. If you are thinking about adding a Malamute to your family please research the breed, as they are not a dog for everyone. The wooly's do require extra grooming than the standards. Malamutes can be quite stubborn, and destructive if not given the proper training, and attention they deserve, so please be familiar with the breed before deciding to add one to your family. Thanks for checking out my page, and enjoying my Malamutes!

Happy 1st Birthday to our 1st and only SakariXTulok babies!! It certainly doesn’t seem like they can already be a whole year old!! I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t feel strange not having any new babies around this time of year! It has probably been 8 years since we haven’t 🥹 But, times change, directions change and life changes. We still love all our babies so very much and are thankful to each and every one of our families that continue to share them with us! They brighten our day! So please never stop! Here is a flashback to our beautiful Sakari’s babies on their very first day of life ♥️

Sorry for my loooong absence! We have been VERY busy planning a wedding for my beautiful baby girl♥️ If I could have you all come I would in a heartbeat! You all have been like family to us. TO SAY I WILL MISS HER is an UNDERSTATEMENT, but Cameron is a wonderful young man and we love him like a Son. We are SO EXCITED for their future together and you all know me…this is one step closer to possible HUMAN GRANDCHILDREN one day down the road🥰🙏🏼EEEEEK! Cameron played a huge part in loving on all of your littles while they were with us! He is such a kind young man!

Food for thought 💭

When you finally welcome your 8 week old puppies, please keep this picture in mind. Their bones aren’t even touching yet. They walk so beautifully with big, flexible legs and bench movements because their joints are made up entirely of cartilage, muscles, tendons and ligaments covered with skin. Nothing is well adjusted or has real grip yet.

When you make them run excessively or don't limit their exercise to prevent them from overdoing during that time, you're not giving them the chance to grow properly. Every big jump or bounce and excited run creates bone-breaking impacts.
In reasonable quantities, this is not problematic and normal wear and tear will do.

But when you let the puppy jump off the couch or bed, take him for long walks, you damage this joint in training. When you let the puppy move on slippery tiles, you damage the joint.

You only get once to make them grow up. A well built body is something that comes from excellent upbringing and good education. BOTH , not just one

Once you’re an adult, you’ll have the rest of your life to spend playing and engaging in high-impact exercises. So keep him calm while he is still young and give him the gift that can only be given once.

Good afternoon Everyone 🙂 I want to first start by saying THANK YOU to EACH AND EVERY ONE OF OUR FAMILIES PAST & PRESENT♥️ We can’t thank you all enough for welcoming one of our babies into your hearts and homes. It means more to us than words can even say. When we started this journey 10 years ago we never imagined how many amazing families we would be blessed with, and you all have truly become family to us.♥️ We love every text, message, picture , video you send. It really helps us be able to do what we do, and I am thankful for each and every one you.
Now comes the hard part🥹….We have spent countless hours, days, and weeks discussing this and it was not a decision we took lightly. We have always lived very busy lives with our careers, family, and our Crew of 7. Our decision to breed was never meant to be “our living” it was “our life” and just in general love of the breed, and being able to share that love with you all. Life changes directions sometimes, and although our love for our Mally’s and our Mally Families WILL NEVER CHANGE. We have decided to no longer breed, and it was a tough choice😢 But we know in our hearts it is the right choice for Us, and our lives. I WILL NOT be rehoming any of our adults. On the contrary , we will actually just have more time to enjoy them now. I have 4 Seniors now, and enjoying the rest of our time with them is and always has been our priority. We will OF COURSE still ALWAYS be available to all of our families, and I will still expect updates on everyone whether they are 8 weeks old or 15 years old. That will NEVER CHANGE😄 The relationships and friendships we have made with all our families is something we will always cherish ♥️ This journey has been so much better than we ever dreamed of, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Much love to you ALL, and you just never know what the future holds. Life could change direction again years from now. Our love will always be for our Alaskan Malamutes and OUR FAMILIES♥️😉😘 A quick pic of Ms. Grace just a few short minutes before she left with her new amazing family that is now “Our Family” too♥️ She was “The Last”♥️
