Fun little surprise. I had noticed her acting protective over the last few days, but never heard or saw any chicks. The kids went out to the barn and there were 5 little chicks. A little bummed they didn’t come out for early morning chores.

Jj hatched a turkey she brought in from our turkeys clutch. Something was stealing the eggs and she was worried. We had to get the Tickles friends. The flock of turkeys and meat birds are settled in to their jr digs.

Stella is officially under saddle! I have waited 2 yrs for this day. It’s had its challenges, but with the help of another we are here and I can’t be happier. She’s still green, but man is she comfy to ride.
