🐾 Adopt or Foster Arrow 🐾

Lexington it’s time to step up for this boy! Schedule your meet and greet today!

He’s a good boy. All he wants is a lap and someone to play with. Tug of war and stuffies are his favorite things in the world. Most of all he loves being in the house with people, despite his past experiences.

🐕‍🦺 Arrow is house trained - to date not a single accident despite having been a stray.
🐕‍🦺 Arrow is crate trained - he doesn’t love it, but a few treats and he goes in.
🐕‍🦺 Arrow loves to play tug and fetch. But he loves destuffing stuffed toys the most.
🐕‍🦺 He’s been gentle with the toddler. He has a lot of energy, but he does try to manage himself around her. He’s cognizant of her size and does his best to avoid knocking her over. He also doesn’t react when she grabs a foot or pets too hard.

We are still working to get him neutered, and would provide food and support through that process.
Someone is looking to add a family member to their home. He’s looking to be that member. He’s looking for love, and we are looking for the humans to show him his prior experiences aren’t normal.

🏹 Foster or Foster to Adopt Arrow 🏹

Arrow is an active young man looking for forever! Will you be that home that teaches him what love looks like?!

After being shot with arrows and clearly abused, Arrow is still so trusting and sweet (unless you’re a cat or stuffed toy). He wants to run, play, cuddle and sleep in a big bed! If he had a theme song, it would be “Part of your world” from the Little Mermaid. We imagine he’s constantly thinking 🎼 🎶 I wanna be where the people are 🎵 🧜‍♀️

We just want to give this boy the best chance at life after such a rough start. We know someone out there is ready to give this man a chance to show him what being a beloved family pet looks like. LAWS will cover all vetting and provide food and supplies during the foster period.

💘 Adopt or Foster Arrow - the stray found with an arrow in his shoulder 💘

Look at this sweet face! This boy is desperate for love, despite clearly having been abused. Besides the arrow injury, he cowers or jumps at loud noises or fast, unexpected movement as though he expects to be hit.

Lexington we need you to show up for this boy! In 5 days, we’ve learned he just wants to be a lap dog. So much so he launches himself full send into your lap at every opportunity. He takes treats and walks like a gentleman, and he wants to play with the toddler. Unfortunately he doesn’t know his own strength so their playtime is more managed than he would prefer. His youthful energy and desire to be with the humans would make him a wonderful running or adventure partner!

At this time, we do not recommend he go to a home with small animals, including cats or other small dogs. His prey drive is high, likely from being on his own for a while.

We are still working to get him neutered and UTD ln his shots, but these tasks will be resolved soon.
