A Big Thank You to Penny and staff at Dog Stop on Richmond Road in Lexington KY for fosteting some of our rescues.. Tondra is a beautiful 5-6 year old Husky who is around 46 lbs. Shes friendly, loves people and other dogs. She's amazingly sweet. She really loves long walks, car rides and snuggle time. How can you resist her pretty blue eyes? She is spayed, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. She would be a great companion and family member.

April is a very sweet 1-2 year old Hound/Shepherd mix . She came from a hoarding situation where there were a lot of dogs so she can be a bit shy. She would benefit from having a confident dog in the home that she can follow and can teach her what a real home is like. She’s good with other dogs and is playful. IN TAKE IS CLOSED UNTIL DOGS GO INTO FOSTER OR FOREVER HOMES. WE NEED FOSTERS DESPERATELY!! Please open your heart and your home to some of our rescues. Please open your heart and your home to some of our rescues. Fosters must be located in the Lexington, Georgetown, or nearby areas due to the location of the upcoming vet appointments. Fosters have the first right to adopt if the match is a good fit for both the rescue and the foster family.

We also currently have many loving dogs at the kennel who are still in need of foster homes. Fostering one of these waiting dogs will open up a spot for another dog to be saved. We receive hundreds of pleas for help every month. Animals across Kentucky are in crisis right now, and without fosters, we cannot save more lives.

Event on Saturday 6-20-2026 9 AM - 3 PM at Mom-Mom's Lavender 1061 S Cleveland Rd, Lexington, KY 40515 It is the French Lavender that in bloom... also amazing wild flowers. We need volunteers to help at 9 AM come and get a free designed T-shirt if you volunteer.... It is alot of fun for the whole family and it help raise money for our medical emergency fund.... Help Paws 4 the Cause keep saving lives !!!
