Today is a difficult day. We lost my dear friend, Robby Albarado.

Growing up, I always admired his riding style so much that my own style was inspired by it. This winter, we joked around about how we both still rode like young apprentices despite our age. Robby loved to share his knowledge of riding with others.

To have had the chance to know him, ride alongside him, and call him my friend is something I will always be grateful for.
I am heartbroken. Robby wasn’t just a legendary rider—he was family to so many of us. I will cherish all the moments we shared from Sully’s Dream victory in 2017 and more. I feel so lucky and blessed to have known him, and I will hold on to those memories forever.
Rest easy, my friend. You will never be forgotten. Your legacy rides on. Until we ride again. ❤️🐎
