What ever that large “Boom” felt yesterday in SC was, really messed with Paige. We were outside when it happened and felt the shock wave as the epicenter for this event was only 10-15 miles away.. oooof.

Paige has been a little messed up since, but slowly getting back to normal. When it happened she began barking like crazy, tucked ears and tail and ran inside. She watched the front door all night long and reacted to any and all noises she even barked in her kennel last night.. all very odd for her anymore.. she settled , but just a strange night (these are things she has not done in a long time) today she is starting to settle more, but she has been on watch more then normal, and is exhausted form not sleeping very well, what ever it was really messed with her! , , ,

Hey..I see Dad is in deep thought on a work problem.. I know let's have some fun...

Uhg, these two always with the perfect timing for this stuff.. lol. I am just happy they are playing and not fighting, it took a lot of training and effort for these two to be OK with each other, just life with 2 rescue Weims who are both dominant. In this instance we had good play time, I have to watch as Paige is starting to directly challenge Loki more that these play sessions don't change into something more agressive..but what a hip check Paige has developed... , , ,

Remembering our nation's fallen heroes today, both 2 and 4 legged.

Maiko: A Multi-Purpose Canine with the U.S. Army Rangers who was killed in action in 2018 during a close-quarters battle in Afghanistan, saving the lives of his handler and other Rangers.

Sergeant Stubby: The most decorated war dog of World War I, credited with saving countless American lives from mustard gas and earning his rank through combat.

Lex: A Military Working Dog who refused to leave the side of his fallen handler, Corporal Dustin J. Lee, in Iraq. Lex was later retired and adopted by the fallen soldier's family

Some concrete jungle work this morning with Paige and Loki. Loki did amazing, he even let 6 people say hi to him today! So proud of his progress and seeing him so happy!!
