After more than 3 years of relentless advocacy, Humane Action Pittsburgh is thrilled to announce that HB1210 has officially passed the Pennsylvania Senate! 🐾❤️ This groundbreaking bill ensures that companion animals can be included in Protection From Abuse orders, giving survivors of domestic violence the power to keep their beloved pets safe as they seek protection.

We couldn’t have achieved this without the dedication of our incredible supporters, partners, and the tireless leadership of Representatives Christina Sappey and Natalie Mihalek. This is a huge win for both human and animal welfare!

Now it's off to Governor Shapiro’s desk where we anticipate he will sign it to become law. Stay tuned! 🐶🐱
