Failed so many different times... this sweet girl came into rescue due to her owner becoming homeless. She loves HARD! Her entire spirit was broken. She has come a long way since coming into ODAAT, but would love nothing more than to have a home of her own. She loves playing with other dogs and snuggles. She is absolutely stunning in person. We would recommend no kitties since we have not cat tested at this time. If you are missing someone who would love you unconditionally... Mara is your girl!

THIS... This is what we do when we are quiet!
November 2024. What started out with an initial complaint of a dog that was hanging out a 2 story window after pushing out an air conditioner... was much worse behind closed doors.
We will be posting this case in steps. We want everyone to understand what to watch for. We want everyone to never quit when they reach out!
Animal lovers are the VOICE of the voiceless!
Total live animals removed, 3. One dog, one bearded dragon and one rooster. Total deceased on scene, 6 animals.
What is even more horrifying is 3 children were LIVING in these roach infested conditions just a week prior!

If you purchase Dry Food products for your animals, please send us a photo of your receipt thru email at [email protected] or message us on our page! We submit the receipts to Purina and they will send us a check towards vet care at the vet of our choice. This is HUGE for US! We LOVE our donors! This is a perfect way to donate at no cost to you!

Carole Aurand came over to see us at the rescue and got to meet our 2 newest kiddos. 💕 Misty is a 8 year old pom who spent her life as a breeder on an Amish farm. She really loved Carol! She is timid at first and would do best in a calm home. She is pretty independent, but learning that getting held and petted is pretty neat! She does fine with little dogs, but is fearful of larger breed. Assuming because the farm didn't have any larger dogs.
And of course, Rover had to get in there for some pets. 🥰🐾

A family who will cuddle with him on the sofa and let him sleep in bed with them. He is good with other dogs, and kids. Unsure of cats. He has Neosporosis, but this does not stop him! BONNIE... if only this little girl could speak we believe she would tell us a story of having an extremely difficult life.
She spent her entire life producing litter after litter. We will never know the trauma she endured... but it definitely affected her. She is very timid and unsure of what life can truly can be like. She has been making progress in her foster home and will absolutely need another dog to give her confidence. Winning her trust and feeling her fall in love with you is truly one of the most rewarding gifts of rescue. If you want to experience rescue first hand, Bonnie is your girl! She deserves the BEST life has to offer! Is that you?
