Dog sports mentally and physically challenge your dog creating a well-balanced canine.

But most importantly, there's no feeling of taking to the field with your buddy & you having the same goal of improving together.

Two teammates each learning from one another.

For those that are interested in enhancing your relationship and bond w your pet dog, especially puppy, feel free to get in touch.

This type of training is not limited to competitive dog training; it helps pet dogs and their owners to thrive!

Would love to hear how you can be one without the other and how does each one contribute to the betterment of the canine and family, too.

Puppy nipping is a very typical behavior that takes place with most puppies. Usually, but not always, lasting up until about 4.5 months or so. Yes, I know sometimes longer, too!

It is very natural for puppies to nip. Most puppy owners & even dog trainers will often associate puppy nipping with "teething." This is incorrect. There is a difference between why a puppy nips & why they teeth. Very different motivators.

Having said that, they both can be addressed by different techniques/behaviors because the cause for puppy nipping & teething are different. I just wanted to make that distinction. Let's get back to puppy nipping and save the other for another post.

Some dog trainers will recommend ONE technique, some will recommend a few, but VERY few will suggest how we can at the same time begin to STOP puppy nipping while also forging a habit within ourselves that will help foster a STRONGER relationship between our puppy and may have them MUCH MORE focused on us as they get older. Perhaps, even LASER FOCUSED.

What are some things that we as pet parents can do to mitigate or speed up the process of putting an end to puppy nipping while at the SAME time helping to get their ATTENTION? If you'd like, fill in this short contact form at www.dedicateddogtraining.com/contact-us/ and I will personally send you the 7 MOST important practices that you can begin to place into play immediately!
