A Moment In Time (AMIT) is a 65-acre equestrian farm in Southern Maryland offering boarding, training, and lessons. AMIT has a large, active community of horses and riders: approximately 45 school horses, 20 boarders, a dozen instructors, and 140 clients. We strive to make horseback riding safe and enjoyable. The horses are all snuggled up in their blankets and with the feels like dropping as the sun goes down we feel it’s safer for all to cancel tonight, Monday December 15th afternoon and evening lessons and activities. Stay warm all!

Good afternoon all,

With the chilly temperatures overnight and into tomorrow, our Saturday morning, lessons will be delayed by one hour to allow the temperatures to rise, and the ground to have some sunlight so it will hopefully not be as crunchy.

Due to lack of interest, the Parents day out Camp scheduled for this Saturday, December 13th is Canceled.

Remember there is still time to sign up for the winter camp December 29th - January 2nd!

The ponies are all snuggled into their fields for the night. I think they wore their pajamas inside out last night to ensure no lessons today.

We’re canceling our Friday evening lessons. Stay warm and dry.

Well with the rains that have settled in today it looks like it may stick around longer than originally forecasted. So for our Tuesday afternoon and evening lessons for today December 2nd, we are going to reschedule to Saturday December 6th at 1pm in hopes that Mother Nature will finally agree with us.

Tuesday November 25th afternoon and evening lessons this week will be the option of an indoor or our NEW virtual lesson option (to participate in from the comfort of your own home) due to the incoming storms this evening.

We agree — it’s soggy, gross, and everyone deserves a break.

Well, mother nature is doing it to us again. With the incoming rain, we are canceling our Tuesday afternoon and evening lessons. We are offering to make up opportunities one November 29 and one November 30. Please let your instructor know if you’re planning to attend one or both of these so we can start to make our plans.
