Disclaimer: Always make sure your horse is well prepared with foundational ground work before their first saddling.

Today was a great day for fall orientation with the new Western Equestrian Team at the University of Tennessee! If there are any undergraduate students who were unable to attend and are still interested in joining, please contact our team captain (Caralyn) as soon as possible— we may still have a spot for you. If you can’t join this semester, we hope to see you in the spring or next fall. We’re looking forward to a great season, go VOLS!🧡🤍

With the first 3 races down, we have current averages for the barrel series posted on our website!đź”—

Members: As a reminder, we average your best 3 times in each class for the barrel series. That means you need at least 3 valid times for us to use! If you have more than 3, we’ll use the fastest ones to average. Please contact us asap if you notice any issues.

🟢 GREEN means that you have 3 valid times and are already in the running for series end awards! You can get your average time down by competing at the last two shows of the series.

🟡 YELLOW means you have 2 valid times, and just need 1 more to qualify for end of series awards.

⚪️ WHITE means you have 1 valid time already and need 2 more to qualify for series end awards. You can still qualify at the last 2 shows!

👉 NT means you ran a no-time.

👉 N/A means you didn’t enter that class that day.

If you want to qualify for awards or get a faster average, we better see you at the last two shows!đź‘€
