Unaltered male found at Dollar General in Wax. Can be reclaimed with proof of ownership within the 5 day stray hold. He has a collar and tags but the number on the tag does not get us ahold of the owner.

We decided to expand our retail selection so that when you adopt, you don’t necessarily have to make an immediate stop at the store for the basics your new pet needs. You can grab some of those essentials right here at the shelter!

The best part? Every purchase made from our retail area helps support the homeless animals in our care. Your purchase helps us continue providing food, medical care, enrichment, and the necessities these animals need while they wait for their forever homes.

THE “GET AGGIE HOME” CHALLENGE

SHE FREE!!!!!

Aggie has been at the shelter for 118 DAYS… and she’s still here.

She’s only about 1½ years old, and we are becoming worried that spending so much time in a kennel is starting to affect her mentally. She deserves a home, a family, a yard to run in, and a chance to just be a dog.

So this week, we’re challenging YOU.

Our goal: GET AGGIE OUT OF THE SHELTER BY NEXT WEEK!

Aggie has done well with other dogs in the past, but we always recommend a meet and greet. We’re unsure about cats, but we can cat-test her for anyone interested.

Who’s going to be the person that finally gives Aggie her chance?

Why is Aggie still waiting? 💔

Aggie is one of our longest residents, and we truly don’t understand why she’s been overlooked for so long. She came in with another dog who was quickly adopted, while Aggie has continued to wait for her turn. 🥺

Aggie has had no interest at all, but we know there has to be someone out there who will see what we see in her. She is smart, great with kids, altered, up to date, and fully sponsored!
