Paws & Pose Clients,

We’d like to start off by thanking each and every one of you for your unwavering support and loyalty with our growing business! With that being said…we will be accommodating more dogs and longer days here at the salon. In result of increasing our dog intake, longer wait times than you are used to may occur in most cases. We will still continue to give you a 20 minute heads up as to when they will be finished. We are just asking for some patience with this change while we are doing our best to still ensure a quality experience for your dog.

We are so grateful for your loyalty to our salon! Even through the growth, expanding, and changes in our salon you all have been so accommodating to us making adjustments to our business.
We have carefully picked our added team members and they have become very well adjusted and have fallen in love with your pups as easily as we have. With that being said, we must place their time spent with us as a priority. We have presented ourselves as a luxury salon with higher treatment than most salons. Some of those things being a fenced off area for dogs to go to the restroom as needed during their stay, treats and water, express services as it pertains to specific dog’s needs, a low stress environment, photos after the groom and above all else, love and tender care to your pets. At times, we find ourselves spending a lot of time with extra de-matting, brushing and blow drying in order to accommodate with desired grooms. These extra measures we are taking are mainly a result of not maintaining your dogs coat at home in between grooms. While we understand life gets ahead of you at times and brushing your dog is not always top priority, it is very important we are charging for our time spent getting your dogs back into proper conditions. This is so ourselves and our employees are being paid for the extra time spent on your dogs. This pertains to long guard comb cuts that require extra brushing and blow drying, or double coated dogs who are more compacted as well. Example: Doodles, Australian Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Pomeranians, etc.
With all of this being said, we hope you can understand that your grooming prices are going to have to vary based on the condition of the dog you bring to us. So in some instances, you are paying the base price of your groom, plus occasional fees that will be determined case by case.
Again, thank you all so much for supporting us along this business journey and allowing us to make adjustments as we are growing and learning along the way.

Long nails ➡️ Nail trim ➡️ Nail grind

Nail grind was super beneficial for Chief. His quicks are super long, therefore you cannot trim them super short without cutting his quick which causes it to bleed.

Benefits of nail grinding:
• Rounds off rough edges to prevent scratching
• Gets nail as short as it can go
• Trains quick to not grow back as long
