Flea and Tick season is upon us! 👀
I’m seeing lots of ticks and fleas currently. We love and use Wondercide for our yard, the spray on our pets and ourselves! So if you are looking for something more on the natural side, we find this product effective!

CURRENT CLIENTS(long post)……almost all of you are on a reoccurring schedule (which is why it’s so full!) Feel free to msg me on MoeGo and we can check and make sure you are on the books with a reoccurring appointment.
We thank each one of you for trusting us with your pets and the overwhelming support we have had in the last 8mths since we started the mobile grooming bus! We are blown away!
We will be looking into adding another mobile unit in the coming months. We are just starting to talk about that so it’ll take some time.❤️
Obviously there is a need to add additional mobile grooming vehicles! 😍

Ella is only grooming in Lakewood, Summit Woods and Oaks Ridge(with a couple exceptions very close by)…and she is full! This is how we have kept her pricing down in comparison to other mobile groomers and it was her first year in the mobile business.
Will pricing change!? At some point it will, this year has been a “feeling it out year” to see what the costs actually are. I can promise it won’t be a crazy increase when it does happen and we will give plenty of notice. We have not sat and discussed this as of yet but I’m all about being transparent.❤️

****Ella hasn’t been charging for the extra time it takes for de matting (brushing and/or clipping out) but she will now be much more strict about that because it takes up so much of her time while grooming. It is part of the job and we figure that into the scheduled time for each appointment but when it makes an appointment go over a full hour or more…She needs to be paid for her time and effort(it also makes her late for her next appointment). She will be msging and communicating that with you at the time of your groom. *****

Also there is no shame in the matting! It happens because they are dogs and they are living their best lives! Most of us don’t (our house included) bush and comb our pups daily. 😬🫠 Sometimes your dog gets a start over haircut …🐶 even if you don’t like your shaved dog..tell them they are so cute and a good boy/girl!
I think at some point we may come up with a weekly brushing appointment option for those pups that mat easily! Lots of new things as we progress!

Thank you all again for being the best clients, neighbors, friends and family!
We appreciate each one of you and all of your support!! ❤️🙏🏼

Sorry! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted an update or cute dog videos/pictures! It’s been busy and I’m completely running on survival mode!

Ella’s dad (Mike) is doing really well after his stem cell transplant. It’s been a lot but we’re getting through it together and his recovery has been nothing short of AMAZING! Thank the Lord for that! 🙌🏼
Isolating is not fun but it’s required and it’s in the middle of flu and virus season.
We’ve had amazing support, dinners, DoorDash gift cards, prayers and people checking in on us! Thank you from each of us!

It’s been quite the journey and Mike has 60 more days of complete isolation. After that they will slowly reduce his restrictions with being around limited people and going into public. He will be susceptible to viruses and without an immune system for roughly 12mths and building mostly over the next 24mths. He will also be on a 2 yr targeted medication that will keep fighting his Leukemia cell mutation NPM1.
We will have to try avoiding people who have been sick and/or vaccinated for a time(they have not given us that time frame yet, only to avoid people who fit in those categories for roughly 14days after sickness and/or vaccination due to shedding.) It’s really a strange place to be in….but he is no longer protected from the simplest of things let alone the big stuff! He will have to go back through his childhood vaccinations and rebuild his immunity from scratch. 🫠
As for Ella, Matthew and myself we are avoiding places like Costco and busy crowded places and masking in public. We are also isolating as much as possible as a precaution that we don’t bring any sickness into our home while Mike is still in this beginning stage of recovery.
We miss all of our people, family and neighbors. We remind ourselves often that this is a short time of inconvenience for a longer life together! 🙏🏼
So that’s my update for now! Thank you again for the support and prayers!
We love all of our friends, clients and the furry family members! 🐶💕🐱

Ellas dad’s(Mike) Leukemia update!

Mike(Ellas Dad) has had a molecular relapse for the mutation that caused his leukemia(AML) earlier this year. With that mutation showing back up he will now need to go through stem cell transplant (bone marrow).
Treatment starts right after Christmas and his Day 0 (that is how they refer to your transplant day) will probably be on January 1st.
Ella will need to be very careful when she is around people due to Mike being so vulnerable. He will have no immunity or anyway to fight off viruses. The common cold could end his life.
We are asking if you happen to be sick or have anyone sick in the house while she is grooming to please let us know. We will discuss either rescheduling or masking for that interaction.
Earlier in the year we were really careful and cautious but this time we need to be more so with flu, Covid and other viruses going around now. I will be his primary care giver(please give me grace as I also run all the schedules and usually respond to messages.), my mom is coming to help and Ella will be my back up if needed for Mikes appointments(there will be many).
Thank you all for being the best clients, for letting Ella love on and make your dogs look their best! She absolutely LOVES what she does and as her parents that make our hearts very happy! We are very proud of her!
We are standing soundly on our faith in Jesus and just leaning into His Word!
Your prayers and support are truly a blessing and we are so thankful for each of you!
This is not how we wanted to end the year but it’s where we are.
Blessings to you, your pups and families!
