Hope leading the charge - the mamas headed out for their grazing season today! It’s always so much fun watching them kick up their heels and let loose. Thankful for all they provide

Yesterday we drilled in a simple seed mix where our cows spent most of the winter. The mix consists of forage peas, oats, sunflower, and purple top turnips. As well as medium red clover and orchard grass. The intention is for the pea, oat, sunflower to go a full season priming the microbial machine so the clover orchard grass can get established and come back stronger than ever next year.
