Today is a horrible day,today we have to take king for his last ride. He is crossing the rainbow bridge this afternoon at 5.
He is the best boy ever,it's killing me to have to do this but he is having seizures too often and now the medicine isn't working to control them. His body is getting beat up from the seizures,he is having a hard time walking now and falls down doing normal things and that kills us to see him like that because he's always been regal and Royal in his movements,a true King. His eyes during his seizures haunts me so bad,he pleads to me to help and all I can do is hold him so he doesn't really hurt himself. He hates them so bad.
He's the best father to all his puppies,he would let the babies crawl all over him and do anything they want to him. He would lay as close to the mumma giving birth as he could just to make sure everyone was ok and maybe get a chance to kiss one haha. He was just the kindest,loyalist, loving boy you could ask for. He listens good and would lay there and give you his paw to cut nails. He trusts us to do anything. He would lay under cars while I worked on them for hours and hours,he just wanted to be next to you no matter what you're doing. He loves to get up on his mummas lap and give her hugs,,he loves to lay right at her feet anytime she was sitting down, he was definitely a mummas (Angela McAllister)boy,she will be heartbroken too.
He loves the grandkids and will follow them everywhere for hours and hours to make sure they're safe.
He sired over 130 puppies and many of his babies are just like him, such a great best friend. He's part of our family and will be missed terribly. Our home won't be the same without our buddy. We are going to be so heartbroken tonight.
I don't know how we'll get thru this but we love him too much to make him live like he is now. We love him so much and need to do what is kindest even tho it really really sucks. We're grateful for the time we got to love him,he was a joy to love. We will talk to him as he goes and let him know our extreme love for him. Our love is why we just can't make him suffer thru like this any longer.
