🚨 Just 2 weeks away! The Greater Lafayette Kennel Club’s FastCAT weekend is coming up June 28 & 29 at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, IN — and it’s going to be a blast! 🐶💨

Whether your pup is signed up to run or you just want to check it out, this is an awesome chance to watch dogs sprint the 100-yard dash, meet local dog lovers, and learn what FastCAT is all about. 🐾

We’ll be set up with the K9 Cardio Fitness Mobile Dog Gym, giving curious pups a chance to see (and maybe try!) the slatmill — a great way to burn off energy and stay fit.

Memorial Day Weekend Pet Safety Tips! 🐾

As we honor and remember, let’s also keep our pets safe during the celebrations. Here are a few quick reminders:

🔥 BBQ Boundaries – Keep pets away from hot grills, skewers, and bones that can be dangerous if swallowed.
🍔 Watch the Snacks – Many picnic foods (like onions, grapes, and chocolate) are toxic to pets.
💥 Firework Fears – Loud noises can frighten animals. Keep them indoors in a quiet, secure space.
🌞 Beat the Heat – Provide shade, fresh water, and never leave pets in hot cars—even for a minute.
🎉 ID, Please! – Make sure your pet’s tags and microchip info are up to date in case they get spooked and run off.
