Thank You For Your Purr-vice Navy Veteran & Kitten Foster I'm a Navy Veteran and have loved cats my whole life. We are passionate about saving tiny kittens!

I started fostering kittens in 2017 when our family lived in California, and we have continued fostering in Maryland. We fostered over 100 kittens for The Rescue House in San Diego, and have already fostered almost 50 kittens for Laurel Cats in Laurel, MD. I served our country for 12 years of my life, and now I'm dedicating my time to saving kitten lives. I want to share details about our past jou

rney and continued fostering to highlight the challenges of cat rescue and also the joy! I hope others will be inspired to help vulnerable animals in their own way - through fostering, adopting, donating, or just caring. We all need to work together to end the suffering caused by animal overpopulation. Plus, photos and videos of adorable kittens make the world a better place!

Yay for kittens eating on their own! Oyster and especially Chowder were struggling to eat and gain weight last week, so they were cared for by our awesome medical team. Now they’re back on track and home with us. Yay!!!

Little Toyota was found at a car dealership with a sibling whose leg was mangled and ended up euthanized. Toyota herself had a nasty eye infection and was severely underweight. Laurel Cats’ medical team rushed into action and stabilized Toyota. Then she came to me. She’s been an inconsistent eater and is just now becoming more regular. Hopefully that continues and she starts packing on some weight. Not getting much sleep around here!
