Kitten Angels Kitten Angels is a non-profit organization located in the Capital District of New York state. All of our Kitten Angels are in foster homes.

We are dedicated to saving abandoned, orphaned, and neglected kittens and cats. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned & orphaned kittens, pregnant kitties, mama kitties and kittens, in the NY Capital Region and surrounding areas. The organization is run completely by volunteers. We have no paid employees. Come in & visit the Kitten Angels Adoption Clinics throughout the

NY Capital Region and surrounding areas at our partner stores. Adoption applications are available online or at any of our partner stores. An approved adoption application is REQUIRED in order to adopt one of our angels.

An adoption fee of $175 must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, have been tested for FeLV/FIV, and have been spayed or neutered. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. Please make sure to include as much information as possible, even if not noted as required, so that the adoption coordinators can best assess which angel is right for you. A friendly reminder, the approval of an application from Kitten Angels is not a commitment or contract of adoption of any particular kitty. Every adoption is of course contingent on a meet & greet and fosters/volunteers do get final okay for any adoption, even if approved through Kitten Angels, as they are the most familiar with their kittens' personalities

Meet Leo, a magnificent 3-year-old grey gentleman weighing in at a robust 24 pounds. He is a portly fellow and a professional loafer who believes a Sunday afternoon nap should last all week. If you love maximum coziness and deep affection, Leo is ready to cuddle with you.

📋 Leo's Ideal Home:

• Low-noise, low-commotion. Leo is a gentleman of leisure who prefers a calm environment over a chaotic household.

• Peaceful co-existence with another feline is fine! He can live with another mellow, mature cat who respects boundaries.

• He can coexist alongside a peaceful, older canine companion who gives him room to breathe. Just be sure to introduce them slowly and properly!

• Great with adults, tweens, and teens who respect Leo's impressive size and his dedication to the quiet life.

Kitten season is hitting us hard, and little angels like Erin (pictured!) have very big appetites. Our Kitten Angels fosters are running through food faster than ever! We are looking for three specific items this week:

Olympia, approximately four years old, is located at Albany PetSmart. She has been here the longest, which means she has the most love backed up and ready to deliver! Please help her clock out of the shelter and into your heart!

She would prefer her home with no other cats, but loves interaction with people. She can be shy, and right now she’s very sad because she has waited several weeks with very little interest. She’s a good girl with a beautiful gray tabby coat. She will be the best couch companion you’ll ever meet! 💕

Belle and her 2 siblings were born 4/20/26 and spent their first few weeks living outside with their stray mom. Since Belle has been rescued, she loves to explore, and loves playing with toys. Once she's comfortable she is a purr machine! And most enjoys chasing her crinkle balls and strings!

Belle loves playing with her brothers and would do great with other kitties! She has never been around a dog, or any other animals so it's unknown how she would be with them.

Belle is such a pretty, sweet baby and once she warms up to her new family, will be the best girl!

Fanta has a bubbly but not overpowering personality. This cool drink of a kitty combines notes of orange cat vibe with calmer udertone of tabby making him a unique blend. He can be chatty for attention and is ready to refresh you with his attention too.

Bear and his 2 siblings were born 4/20/26 and spent their first few weeks of life living outside with their stray mom. Since he's been rescued, Bear loves the inside life! He loves to play, especially in his cat tunnel, and with his catnip mouse! He loves to lay next to you and will purr while you rub his chin! Bear enjoys laying in his cat tower and zooming across the room when you throw him toys!

Bear loves his siblings and would be great with other kitties!

Darla needs a family… she watched her kittens go home and she has waited since then for her knight in shining armor. She has had a lot of interest, but still sits and waits. She’s a lovely young girl, with a desirable Russian blue grey coat. Calm, quiet, friendly, and affectionate. She’d love to meet you!
Up-to-date vaccines testing and she has been spayed.

Blackie was born 4/20/26 and rescued with his siblings from a life outside, and has loved inside life ever since! Blackie loves to play! He zooms across the room after toys, strings, balls, and loves jumping on his cat towers!

He is great with his siblings, and he also enjoys snuggling and will purr for days.

Blackie is the best boy, and so soft! He is all black fur with the tiniest patch of white fur on his chest and stomach.

It's SUMMERtime! 🌞

Meet 5-month-old, beautiful little tabby girl, Summer. 🌻

Summer is sweet, sassy, playful, and affectionate! She's really the whole kitty package and more.

Summer is a very energetic girl who doesn't seem to be afraid of much! She loves to play with any toy within her reach 🧶. She chases the much bigger resident kitties in her foster home, even the big boys!! She first introduced herself to the calm older doggie in the foster home with a nose boop, a stare, a quick hiss, and then galloped away only to come back minutes later. 😸

Summer loves to sit in the windows or out in the catio watching all the interesting things. When she is ready to settle down she will come sit in your lap or find the highest spot on the cat tree to take a power nap.

🐱 Summer is good with other kitties.

🐶 A calm dog should be ok with a proper introduction.

🧒 She would probably love to play with kids who are cat-savvy and dont want to hold her or carry her around. But she does have a sassy side and may nibble your fingers!
