Extremely excited to see what we get from this Mangrove pairing if anything but lots of breeding activity going on from our male mounting his females constantly. These guys are going to hit their slight cool down period as the mangroves winters typically stay in the low 70’s but all signs are looking good

🚧🏗️ A little update on the backyard transformation! 🐢

We’re tearing down the old outdoor setups and replacing them with some BIG new builds! 💪🏼 Lots of digging in this crazy Vegas sun ☀️, but it’s all worth it to give these turtles the space and environment they deserve.

These new ponds are pushing close to 1,000 gallons each, measuring over 8 ft long and 4 ft wide! 📏 Trust me, the pictures don’t do them justice. 👀

We still have a long way to go with the filtration systems, plumbing, and final layouts, but we’re making progress one step at a time.🔥🐢

Diamondback Terrapin, some really cool plans with this female. She will start her cool down process very soon and hopefully be ready to lay for us in the spring 🐢🐢🐢
