Yesterday, we took in 3 dogs — two from the shelter and one from the literal middle of the desert in Pahrump.💔

Shimmy & Shake
These 2 girls were found as strays and ended up at the shelter. No one came for them.

Shimmy — the happiest, shimmiest wiggle-butt you’ve ever seen! 🍑 A mini English or Bully, she’s 1 yr and 30 lbs of pure sweetness. She’s impossibly adorable. But behind that smile is a struggle — she. can’t. breathe. 😞
She needs immediate palate surgery and urgent treatment for her infected, not cropped but butchered ears 🤬
Her inner ears are fully exposed. She’s in pain. But we’ll fix it — with your help. ❤️‍🩹

Shake — a stunning chocolate brindle Frenchie 🍫 Great breather, muscular, beautiful, and in amazing physical condition. But emotionally? She’s scared. 🥺 We don’t think she’s known much kindness. She needs a spay, a FOSTER, and a lot of love. 💕

Found in the desert. Limping. Sweet as can be. 😇
He’s not bearing weight on one back leg and needs immediate x-rays, plus vaccines, neuter, microchip — the works. He’s ready to love and be loved. But he also needs a FOSTER! 🏡

After the 3 English we committed to from the breeder we still need FOSTERS for, we’re going on an intake hold. We have to. We need to fundraise, we need fosters, and we need adopters for the incredible dogs already in our care.

Not All Sad Stories Look the Same…Swipe to see Betty June’s walking transformed!✨

This is Betty June🌷
She’s just 11 months old—and this is what she’s already been through.

Betty came to us last weekend severely overweight, in so much pain she could barely stand. The first few days in our care, she would collapse trying to get up after laying down too long. She limped with every step.😔 The idea that she was intended to be bred in this condition—to carry puppies, deliver them, and nurse them—is nothing short of heartbreaking.💔

We often see emaciated dogs, and while it’s gut-wrenching to see hunger in their eyes, what Betty has endured is just as tragic. Confinement, neglect, and extreme obesity at such a young age rob her of the chance to simply be a puppy.

She’s now on a strict diet and anti-inflammatories, and she’s already improving! 💪She even slept in the bed last night and has started seeking attention🥹but she’s still learning that the world is safe. Like many retired breeder English Bulldogs we rescue, Betty is sensitive and scared, moving through the world slowly and carefully. ✨

👀This is what unethical breeding looks like. 👀
It’s not always a graphic photo or a tragic end—it’s a dog like Betty, who wouldn’t leave a room, who needed help standing, who is just now discovering what a dogs life should look like.

🙏We need a foster home in Las Vegas or surrounding areas to help Betty June continue to heal. She (like all of the dogs we save)needs someone patient, gentle, and committed—not someone who gives up when things aren’t easy on day one.

Take ‘Em Home Tuesday
🐶BULLDOGS🐶

We still need YOUR help to bring three beautiful English Bulldogs into safety. These dogs are being surrendered by a breeder, and while we’re ready to give them the life they’ve always deserved, we can’t do it without foster homes.

So far, we’ve had no foster interest—and that has us deeply worried. When we’re unable to take dogs in quickly, they’re often given away, resold, or worse… they disappear. We don’t want to lose them. 😕

Here’s who’s still waiting:
    •    A 3-year-old Chocolate Tri male
    •    A 3.5-year-old Lilac Merle female
    •    A 4-year-old Lilac female (possibly related to our sweet Cupcake)

All three have spent their entire lives being used for breeding. They deserve soft beds, love, and peace—not another minute waiting. Reportedly dog-friendly and people-friendly, they’re just waiting for a couch to crash on and someone to show them what life is really about.

Fostering is everything. ♥️

Foster Edition
-Dwight Needs You!

Dwight, formerly known as Bear, is a super sweet boy that came to us from the shelter via owner surrender in heartbreaking shape—emaciated, with awful skin, but the biggest heart. He’s made amazing progress, and now he’s looking for a foster home immediately!

Dwight is dog-friendly but still needs to be neutered and can get a little humpy with the ladies—so ideally, we’re looking for a foster home with no other pets, or someone who can keep him separate at first while he decompresses. He might also do well with a calm, older dog.🧘

This boy LOVES kids—truly one of the most kid-loving dogs we’ve had in rescue. ♥️♥️♥️
He’s people-friendly, energetic, cuddly, and just full of love. Dwight deserves more than life has given him so far, and we’re ready to give him that—with your help.

Fostering is only available in Las Vegas and surrounding areas. We provide all food, medical care, and supplies—you provide the love.💗

Take Em Home Tuesday: Finnie the magnificent🤩💐

Sweet Finnie is a two-year-old Frenchie who came to us a few weeks ago as a breeder surrender, and honestly? We’re obsessed with her. 😍 At just 20 pounds, she’s got the sweetest, smooshiest black face and the most loving soul—we’re all head over heels for this girl. 🥹

Finnie had an adoption meet recently, but unfortunately, she was returned the next morning due to food bowl guarding. We did advise she needs to eat separately, and while her behavior is easily managed by picking up the bowl or feeding her in her own space, it wasn’t the right fit for that home. So, Finnie is back on the lookout for her perfect match. One that is more than just talk about commitment and giving a dog time to settle in and doing everything to not return a dog…

She’s dog-friendly, but does have a more “pushy” or dominant personality with other dogs. That said—she listens incredibly well, corrects easily, and is very responsive to guidance. She’d do well with a calm, more submissive dog or as your one-and-only spoiled princess. 👑

🐱 Finnie is amazing with cats and would do amazing with cat siblings.

This dynamic girl wants nothing more than to be by your side. She will rest her head on your shoulder like a baby, snuggle you to sleep, and follow you around like your tiny shadow. 🫠
She uses a dog door, sleeps perfectly in the bed, and is totally non-destructive when left alone. She’s not a fan of crates or pens—but she doesn’t need them anyway. 🤌

Whomever adopts her is getting such a gem. 💎 We’re going to miss her so much, but we’re even more excited to see her loved the way she’s always deserved.♥️

Kenzo is an approximately 3 year old male French Bulldog who is also a breeder surrender 😮‍💨— but since being surrendered, he’s been living his best foster life, gaining some healthy weight, soaking up the snuggles, and discovering his greatest joy in life: BALLS.

Seriously — any shape, size, or color… if it rolls, Kenzo’s on it. 🏈⚽️🏀🏐🎾

But once the ball is down, he’s back to his mellow self.
This guy is the perfect combo of playful and chill.
He loves nothing more than being held like a baby, head hanging upside down, just soaking in the love.🥰🥰🥰

If you’re looking for a ready-made best friend, you’re gonna want to meet Etsy!

Etsy came to us as a breeder surrender — alongside who we believe was her son (he’s now in a foster-to-adopt home living his best life). And now it’s her turn to find a forever family.

This gorgeous Merle girl is currently thriving in an amazing foster home. She’s sweet, outgoing, super cuddly, and totally content curling herself into a tiny ball despite being a little on the larger side for a Frenchie. She’s affectionate, loves people, and gets along great with other dogs. 😍

🥥Take Em Home Tuesday: Meet Coconut!🥥

Say hello to Coconut—a tiny, 18-pound cream Frenchie with a heart full of love and a fresh start ahead of her. This sweet girl is between 1 and 1.5 years old and came to us a couple of months ago as a breeder surrender along with four other Frenchies from California. Since then, she’s been thriving in foster care and is now fully vetted and so ready for her forever home!🏡

Coconut is dog-friendly (big and small!), kid-friendly, people-friendly, and crate-trained. While she’s a little timid at first—she didn’t get to experience much of the world before rescue—she’s incredibly sweet and starts to blossom once she feels safe. With a little patience and a lot of love, she’ll be your most loyal, adorable sidekick. 💕

Coconut does have allergies being treated with an allergy pill twice a day during this tough allergy season 🤧

🩵Take Him Home Tuesday: Meet Max!🩵

This tiny nugget is Max—a sweet little Yorkie weighing in at under 5 pounds and looking for a lap to claim as his own forever. Max came to us as an owner surrender when his person faced medical challenges and could no longer care for him. We were honored to step in and give this little guy a soft place to land.

Max is about 7 years old and has had a full glow-up with some serious grooming and a major dental—he’s now rocking just 3 teeth, so wet food is a must! But don’t let that fool you—he’s full of life and full of love. He’s never met a person (or child) he doesn’t adore. 🥰

He’s dog-friendly too, though he can get a little yappy around high-energy pups, so he’d thrive either as your one and only or with another calm, mellow dog friend. Max is 1000% the kind of dog who just wants to be with his person—on your lap, by your side, always close. He would make an incredible companion for someone who’s home most of the time, especially a retiree or someone looking for a loyal little shadow. ✨

✨ Take Em Home Tuesday: Meet Penny!✨

This tiny little gem is Penny—a three-year-old chocolate merle Frenchie with the sweetest soul and a heart ready for a fresh start. Penny came to us as a breeder surrender in heartbreaking condition—one of the most overbred pups we’ve ever met. Her body told that story, her skin and ears were in really poor shape too, but she’s been getting all the TLC she deserves, and now?
She’s blooming. 🌼

Penny is just about ready to be spayed, and while we finish one last round of antibiotics for her ears, we’re officially opening up applications! She’s people-friendly, dog-friendly, and full of personality. She uses a dog door like a pro, is non-destructive, and doesn’t need to be crated—just give her a cozy spot and she’s golden.

She’s easy going and would thrive in just about any loving home, and after everything she’s been through, she deserves the absolute best. ♥️🏡
We can’t wait to watch her live out the rest of her life surrounded by comfort, cuddles, and kindness.

Say Hello to Dwight (formerly Bear). 👋
This sweet, soulful guy was owner-surrendered to the shelter in heartbreaking condition—skinny, neglected, and defeated. But even after everything, Dwight is still just a happy-go-lucky, love-soaked boy who wants nothing more than someone to finally treat him right.🥹

He’s doing so much better now—still thin, and we’re treating some lingering skin issues—but his spirit is strong, and his tail never stops wiggling.

We need a foster home ASAP to help him continue healing.

    •    OR someone who can monitor and redirect if he gets a little overexcited (he’s a bit humpy with females—nothing serious, just needs guidance!)
