I’ve known Jamie over a decade, she’s opened her home to so many rescues, and I had the absolute pleasure in helping her Gino adjusted & introduced to the tribe of other 4-legged siblings he now is doing well with.

So…remember Dash (the last video post)…well looks like he & his momma are doing well after their training sessions.

It’s great when I get sent messages or photos of dogs I used to train & see them doing well in their homes! Especially this guy! 💙

Having been through so many training “attempts” it’s great to know that Dash & his momma have learned and CONTINUE (key word) to work the ongoing training needed to give their dogs a good life…and of course make the humans life easier as well!

Good Job Dash! Look forward to more updates!

The Henderson Shelter Needs Your Help!

They have ONE open kennel and SEVERAL dogs being picked up and coming in on a daily basis, PEOPLE this is a great shelter, but it’s still a shelter and they will be forced to make some very difficult decisions if they don’t have several adoptions of large dogs very soon..

🚨 There are 36 dogs available for adoption at this moment.. several different breeds & all ages.. 14 of those dogs have been at the shelter for more than one month. These dogs are sweet, social, smart and have so much love to give. Please come down this weekend and adopt your new best friend. If you already have a dog at home, the shelter encourages that you bring them along to do a meet & greet. Adoptions are on a first come basis, so you don’t need an appointment. Adoption fee is only $90 and that includes spay/neuter, vaccines up to date & microchip. Please share this post, please come adopt. 🫶🏼

Mica is an extraordinary 3 year old Mastiff mix who is looking for a family to call her own. She was found as a stray and had been living on the streets for 4 months. We couldn’t get to her, she wouldn’t let us bring her to safety. One day she gave in and let us. Her past is a mystery but her reality is that she is practically perfect in every way.

Mica is potty trained, does not need to be kenneled, does not bark, plays gently with toys, eats her food like a lady and loves to snuggle. She also loves hiking in Red Rock. She sits quietly at the park and watches the kids and other animals walking by. She is gentle and just all around precious.

Mica is available for foster or adoption. She would do well in a home with calm dogs. She doesn't seem to have a reaction to cats or mind their presence. Her gentle nature says she would be good around calm kids as well.
