Before the walk even starts, the training begins.

In this session, Kat the Dog Lady is showing a client and their dog Roscoe how to practice a simple but powerful recall tune up drill before heading out on a walk.

When dogs are surrounded by exciting sights, smells, and distractions at the park, staying connected to their owner can be challenging. Taking a few minutes to work on engagement and recall before the walk helps set the tone for success, builds focus, and reminds your dog that paying attention to you is rewarding.

A strong recall isn't just about coming when called—it's about creating a relationship where your dog chooses to stay connected, even when the environment is competing for their attention.

Career Day at Sandy Miller Academy 🐾

Grayson and I had such an amazing time representing the world of dog training and entrepreneurship! I’m so grateful to the school for inviting me and giving us the opportunity to be part of such a special day.

A huge thank you to all the students who asked such thoughtful questions and, of course, made sure Grayson got plenty of good scritches before heading out 😊

It was truly an incredible experience being able to share what I love with such curious, bright young minds. Moments like these remind me why I’m so passionate about what I do.

I had an absolute blast and can’t wait to do it again!

Grayson got to teach Border Collie puppy Willow how to play and listen like a good girl. We got to visit this awesome Sniffspot location called for our recall lesson with Willow and her dad.

The pups had so much fun during their breaks getting to run around, chase each other and sniff all the things. Such a beautiful place to hang with the dogs with many photo opportunities

Happy Pawlidays from our pups and parents who came out to our Group Class and Donation Drive this December. We raised over $200 in cash as well as got a lot of food and p*e pads to donate to for dogs in need this Holiday Season.
