Hi All!
Want to introduce you to Valentina! This girl i am fostering and would love to see her find her forever quickly. Why quickly? Not for the reason you may think. The reason is that she is one of the most loving attention craving dogs EVER. She L❤️VES very strongly and will take and give back as much as you are willing to share. She is happy to just be next to her people. She will give you her paw to hold to show her love or kisses. She is dog friendly and great with cats. She doesn't particularly need another dog as long as she has her people. I have meshed her into my pack and she is left in the house freely with them when I am not home. She would LOVE a home with kids as well. Her story is she was dumped by same owner that dumped her and another girl her age along with 4 puppies. Shelter believes pups were from the other girl dumped with her. (We saved her too) The puppies all got out and these girls were on the last call list for space and being terrified in the loud shelter. Both girls had had puppies, assuming they were penned up in a back yard with minimal attention and no real home life. Valentina is approximately 3 yrs old and 60 lbs. Hey Everyone,
Wanted to start getting some posts out on some amazing pups coming in need of homes. Our next transport will be arriving June 26th. First guy i want to share is Spoons. Foster mom calls him Skippy! 🤗 This guy has a sad story but you would never know it by his personality. Skippy is full of love, exuberance for life and heart. He came into the shelter as a stray with a stump for a back leg. This did not affect his happiness or sweetness or ability to get around. It did cause issues however due to the length, it could not properly heal and was always being hit. We do not know or want to imagine how this happened to this poor boy. He was on the last call list for space and medical. Being this boy was happy and full of life and already accustomed to 3 legs we asked about tagging him for rescue. The shelter agreed they could do the amputation and this boy can live a happy normal life. We had a great foster that agreed to take him when he was out of medical from his amputation until he could come on transport. Skippy's est DOB is 4/8/23 so he has a long life ahead of him. He weighs 45 lbs so isn't too big or to small. He does great with other dogs and deserves a home that wants to treasure him for all that he is and has to give. To boot look at how handsome he is with his beautiful colors. If interested in giving Skippy a home to land in when he arrives on transport PLEASE reach out. Whether it be straight foster or choice would go to someone interested in fostering to adopt or outright adopting, Skippy needs someone. 💞 (SEE VIDEOS in comments)

Hi All,
Village For Paws Rescue wishes to acknowledge a group of incredible young ladies in our community. The Girls On The Run team chose to collect donations for a dog rescue when given some options of charitable causes. They orchestrated this with thought, hard work and heart. Everything they collected is of the utmost use to benefit rescue pups. Among the items collected were food, (canned and kibble) dog bowl, toys, collars, leashes, puppy pads, bones, treats, blankets, dog shampoo, clean up baggies, paper towel and cleaning wipes. They seriously thought of everything. Not only did they do all that but also took the time as well to decorate all the boxes they collected the items in. As well, they made cards. I had the pleasure of going to the school and speaking with these ladies and answering some questions they had. From the bottom of our hearts we thank them and are so grateful to have them as part of our Village. 💞

UPDATE of the 12 puppies that were dumped only 2 remain alive. 💔 This was such a hearbreaking PREVENTABLE situation these pups endured. Just pure evil.

WHAT HELL LOOKS LIKE FOR PUPPIES 🤬😩💔🙏🏻

This just made us sick and brought tears to our eyes! 12, 3 month old puppies all surrendered in horrible conditions. As mad as owner surrenders upset us thank god these babies are away from these people. Just look at them! We can’t even imagine the life they’ve been living. We need to get them out so they can learn what love and probably a normal human touch is! Please can anyone help one, two, or even three? We are begging 🙏🏻.

🩺 Shelter notes: Puppies presented on intake showed signs consistent with heat-related distress, including lethargy, weakness, dehydration, and poor body condition. Physical examination also revealed a heavy parasite burden contributing to compromised overall health and quality of life. Puppies appeared underconditioned and debilitated, with clinical concerns significant enough to impact normal comfort and function. Medical team initiated supportive care measures upon intake. However, pets would benefit from placement outside of the shelter environment.
