🐣🌸 Easter Weekend is Here! 🌸🐾

As you celebrate with family, food, and fun, don’t forget to keep a close eye on your furry friends! 🐶🍫 Some Easter goodies can be harmful to pets—like chocolate, candy, and certain table scraps. Be mindful of what they might sneak off the floor, the table, or even from your hands!

🚫 And remember: please don’t crack eggs on your pets. It can cause stress, aggression, or even lead to illness.

From all of us at Laredo Pet Vet, we wish you a joyful, safe, and paw-some Easter weekend! 🐰💛

Cats are curious and known to nibble, and if they nibble these plants, they could end up with vomiting, diarrhea—or even worse. 🙀

If you want to play it safe, keep these flowers outside in the flower bed or put them far out of your cats’ reach!

While most dog owners report behavior problems as relatively minor, a recent study by Dr. Bonnie Beaver found that behavior problems are a common part of dog ownership.

According to the study, 99% of dogs in the United States show behaviors that are potentially problematic. Monitoring behavior is a crucial component of dog ownership so that mild problems don't escalate into severe ones.

Laredo Pet Vet PC

Hello, my name is Dr. Rebecca A. Buckley-Rodriguez and I am the owner and veterinarian at Laredo Pet Vet PC. I have been a veterinarian for 8 years. I love what I do. I love animals and I love people. Being a wife, a mother of 3, and a sibling to 6, family is what is most important to me. My pets are apart of that family! I know how special they are to me and love meeting people who love their pets as much as I love mine. Educating the community will help increase the standard of care of pets in our area and help spread PET LOVE! Here at Laredo Pet Vet, Pets are Family!
