South Lansing Urban Gardens - SLUG

South Lansing Urban Gardens - SLUG Produce is donated year-round to local pantries and soup kitchens.

Tip for fresh lettuce this year.

A quote from AHS (American Horticulture Society) newsletter: Thomas Jefferson once noted in his journals that a thimbleful of lettuce should be planted every Monday morning? Follow his routine and you’ll get a steady supply of salad greens.

So think about this on your patio, your apartment or condo porch, where ever works for you! Simple container gardening!
